Re: Anyone heard of Dr. Andrew Kramer?

Hello Zumba, I had my Titan implant placed by Dr Kramer Dec 19th, 2012. Dr Kramer is awesome. He is very knowledgeable and his bedside manners are impeccable. I researched long and hard before my implant. I received personalized care from him I could not receive from anyone else. His infection rate ...

Re: Implant, Prostate, PSA

Hey JDavid, I am on board with you. I asked my urologist specifically about placing me on an antibiotic for a possible infection. He said he didn't think I had one because on his DRE he said my prostate felt normal. I have never had an enlarged prostate. I question his logic on that. Would an infect...

Re: Implant, Prostate, PSA

Thanks for the replies. I have an appointment in six weeks for an updated PSA reading. If it is still elevated I am sure I will be having another biopsy. I am already thinking about types of surgery if I have a low grade localized cancer.

Re: 1st deflation: more pain than I anticipated

Hey Ditchman, Congrats on your new implant. I had my Titan placed Dec 19th. The absolute hardest thing about mine was the deflation. I am right on board with you. It took me awhile to deflate mine the first time. I sqeezed like hell and it still would not deflate the first time. Scared the hell out ...

Implant, Prostate, PSA

Hey Guys, I have had my Colplast implant since Dec 19th. Things are going great and I am very happy with my decision. I still have my prostate. My package is so large in the flaccid state that it feels like I can orgasm very frequently as compared to before. My problem is that I just had an updated ...

Re: Post op Pain

Hey Irishman, you have some good questions. It sounds like you have a general reaction to all opioids. They will probably shoot you up with some fentanyl or some kind of narcotic during the surgery. Analgesia is a significant aspect of general anesthesia. You may want to ask the anesthesiologist abo...

Re: Reason for Implant Surgery

I like pianoman's response. I worried about the same thing. A hernia operation could be a viable option. I just didn't feel like making something up. I told folks I was having some surgery "below" and that it was pesonal and that I did not wish to discuss it. Everyone has respected that. I...

Re: Omega's Journey

Sorry, the last time I had a long post it timed out on me. You have to keep them shorter. OK my psa has risen to about 5. I had a biopsy about 1.5 years ago. It was negative thank God. I noticed my ejaculate was getting really weak. Sometimes I would orgasm before the ejauclate would come out. It wo...

Re: Omega's Journey

Hey thinktank. You pose some interestring questions. I can only conjecture at this point. I can tell you that I have much more sensation than I did. This could in part be because of better stimulation of nerves pushed to the surface and maybe because of better blood circulation. This could all lead ...
