Re: Day 11 post-op/pics
Gregor, I'm confused about the scar tissue not allowing the cylinders to go into your glans. I've seen quite a few men with severe scarring and peyronies have successful implant surgeries. I'm guessing that the surgeon's skill would be extremely important in these cases? Dunno. Was ages ago and has...

Re: Day 11 post-op/pics
I’m so sorry. Do you still have this cancer?
Been in remission about a year. It was pretty bad there for a bit... death bed sort of stuff. And in the middle of covid, I was lucky the hospital let in one visitor a day, cause I was out of it most of the time and had no clue what was going on. ...

Re: Day 11 post-op/pics
Gregorbehr why did they make a horizontal incision? Did they use drainage tubes to remove excess blood? That was over 7 years ago... who knows. Hell, that implant was removed a year ago anyway. What’s your situation now? Do you not have an implant? A very odd situation... after having it for 5 year...
I hope Dr. Levine got him in today for an emergency revision and said that they'd sort out who owes what later. I hope that... I doubt it would happen that fast but here's hoping.
Given what is going on in the world, it is highly doubtful any surgery considered elective is going to h...

Re: Revision recovery time
The first implant was in and out in 11 days... infection. That was 7 years ago and so traumatic I can't even recall the pain because it was all such a mind f**k. The second implant was 5 years ago and just like my surgeon kept telling me it would be, I was hurting for about 2 weeks and achy up until...

Re: Growing Concern Post-Procedure
A1c of 11.1?!?!? Yeah, I would definitely say that is hampering your recovery. I'm really surprised a surgeon would even do an elective surgery when your A1c is that high, knowing poorly controlled diabetes impedes healing. I've been sick with multiple issues over the past 9 weeks and I'm freaking o...

Re: wife of someone who wants this implant...need advise
Here is a fairly decent video of an implant surgery. It's in Italian, but just turn down the volume, what is being said doesn't matter. If you can watch it and think anyone is getting turned on by this... well then I just don't know what to say, other than the surgical team is there to do their jobs...

Feeling deflated... so to speak.
Surgery went fairly well on Friday. Thankfully there was no need for the vascular surgeon on standby and the reservoir came out the same way it went in 5 years ago, via my scrotum. The overnight in the hospital was ok, the catheter bugged me the most and kept me awake all night. But that came out (h...
