Re: First pump - Part 3
[quote=" The only question I have now is do you feel or have to squeeze the bulb so it really compresses or is just a squeeze sufficient to prime/pull the liquid good enough? Because, this morning, I can't say I felt the bulb compress at all but it surely moved the liquid.[/quote] My bulb alway...

Yes, I did. Feels good. Also my testicles floated up out of the way so I could feel the pump easier to get an idea of where the parts are.

Re: Pumping Up?
So for those of you that are discreet about it, what about the pump? My pump sits low in my ball sac. I was fooling around with someone the other day, and they were playing with my balls, and I felt like they were concentrating on the pump. Perhaps to the unknowing it's a giant, very hard, ball? I ...

Re: Pump up questions
It hurt really bad when my doc pumped me during the first weeks after surgery. But as the skin of the scrotum healed up it reached a point that there is no pain during pumping. When you reach that point varies but most guys seem to get there after 2 or 3 months. For me the left side of my scrotum wa...

Re: A few questions about activation next Monday
I had my implant on October 17. So far, my recovery has gone pretty well. The first week was the worst, then gradually better, as most here have also reported. I have an appointment next Monday to learn how to use the device. I have felt around and really have no idea where to locate the pump and t...

Re: Surgery prep
For my implant surgery my urologist had me shower with an anti-bacteria scrub. But for my recent hernia surgery the surgeon (different doc) did not. I used an over the counter anti-bacteria soap for two days before the surgery as it seemed like a good idea to me.

Re: joining the club
Don't worry about finding the button. Once you have done it a few times it will be as easy as putting your key in the ignition of your car and starting the car. Shortly after my surgery I found it easiest to check out the button location by sitting in my spa. When doing that my testicles floated up,...

Re: Surgery prep
In addition to the steps listed above, my doc told me to discontinue all blood thinners one week before the surgery. These include aspirin, fish oil, gingko biloba, nattokinase, and vitamin E. If you are on coumadin for serious heart issues, you should discuss this with both your urologist and whoev...

Re: AMS Pump Malfunction
I saw my urologist yesterday for my 9 days post-op for my hernia surgery. A few things may be of general interest. 1. My urologist has been doing implants since the early 1980's and has done about a thousand. Mine was the first that required a hernia surgery due to the reservoir slipping out of plac...
