Suncruiser,
I once asked my uro about priapism and when to worry. In short, he said that as long as you weren't stiff as a pole, you're fine. Lingering plumpness is common. I was a trimix user before two pharmacies I used stopped compounding. Now on Edex with satisfactory results.

Re: 19 gauge needle
I've been a regular whole blood donor for the last 20 or so years, and the needle used is 16g. That sucker really does hurt. I have small potholes in my arms and scar tissue on my veins which is increasingly making for a more difficult stick. 30gauge.....like the ecology book of years ago, "sma...

Re: Med viscosity& needle gauge
I have used 30 gauge needles almost from the beginning (my doc wanted me to use 27g), and I definitely feel the difference. Broken needles are probably a thing of long ago when the metal alloys were not as pliable. I've never broken a needle, and even when I want to break them prior to disposal, I h...

Re: Recall at pharmacy
Just looked up Pallimed....located north of Boston. My former compounding pharm is also in Massachusetts. I guess the state regulators are coming down hard and doing the job they should have done before the New England Compounding disaster.

Re: Recall at pharmacy
I had an appt with the uro a couple of weeks ago, and he told me the compounding pharmacy that he used (and I used for trimix before switching to edex) had recently stopped its compounding business...not just injectables but all compounded scripts). This was a small local pharmacy/home supplies stor...

caverject dull ache
I recently switched to caverject from trimix. We've all read about the ache at injection site and post coital from alprostadil formulas like caverject and edex. I find that my soreness is more pronounced after sex, and that this increases if I'm standing and walking around. There's hardly any burn w...

Re: How much does Caverject cost ?
Just found this site that lists retail selling prices (CVS, Walgreens, neighborhood pharm, etc) in the Boston area. Everyone is around $52/syringe, before insurance and discounts. You can key in your local zip code to find comparables.

Re: How much does Caverject cost ?
Terra< The initial injection in the doc's office should have been a freebie. Upjohn provides docs with free samples to use in situations just like yours. My guess is that the doc billed you out for something that he got free. As to the $300, that is truly outrageous and either the guy is a thief, or...

Re: MUSE or Caverject
I used MUSE for about 6 months several years back, before switching to TRIMIX injection. MUSE wasn't for me....hard to insert correctly in the urethra and once placed, produced a localized burning sensation and unatural feel to the mild erection produced. This was my own experience, and others may h...

Re: e stim
There are many different e-stim "toys", and their use and results vary depending on the device as well as the box that is controlling the e-stim. If your objective is to maintain a stiff penis -- be it solo or with a partner -- try using a cock ring.
