I still get some pain after 5 months due to the glans being floppy, though the rest of the penis is very hard. Getting better though.

Well guys, My wife and I have given my implant its first operational testing, and I have to say we're pretty happy. Mine was after 33 radiation sessions causing a lot of tissue damage and as a result the wound is only now closing after 7 weeks.

Hi Dallas, I was referring to tissue scarring and deep cell damage caused by beamed radiation therapy in December 09 and January 2010. It caused all sorts of problems, including a totally blocked urethra at one point, but the worst aspect is that such damaged tissue is very slow to heal. This follow...

Thanks Mike, I have to say that the radio did more damage than anyone expected to my lower abdomen, which made the implant procedure pure agony for two weeks post op, but what the hell! Simply to be a functional male again is beyond price. :D Interestingly enough my urologist told me that the US man...

Another new guy

Hi everyone. I live in Australia and was diagnosed with PCa early in 2009, with radical prostate removal in July 09 followed by radiation in December 09 and January 10 following. I'm now on 6 monthly PSA tests, currently running at 0.13.....not good I know, but not too bad either. I am 65 years old....
