Re: Pump Flat after a few pumps
Entourage- I had very similar happen couple months ago. Implanted six and half years ago with AMS 700. Both urologists - one local and specialist who implanted - said leaks happened. No fluid remains for pump to use. Both said only option is replace the entire system. I know, very discouraging and u...

Re: Unable to Orgasm Masturbating w’ New Implant
Orgasms took longer after implant. I mentioned to Dr and he said this occurs in some cases but improves since nerves would be cut or damaged during surgery. Swelling at the minute level still affects nerves as well. Dr. Was right. After several weeks sensations improved and organisms more normal.

Re: Incontinence before/after implant
I developed incontinence following Surgery for PC in 2013. Had ED prior to PC. Surgeon I was sent to regarding Incontinence and ED was confident he could resolve both. I had two surgeries at same time - one to put in an IPP (implant) and one to place a pelvic sling to control incontinence. Day after...

Re: Fight insurance or pay for it?
I know this is frustrating. Before my implant I did not think insurance was going to cover since they did not cover ANY genital surgeries. Had Peyronies diagnosis. A few years later, following prostate cancer and continued severe ED and Peyronies, with post Prostatectomy incontintence the request wa...

Re: Peyronies disease and just wondering
I had peyronies and ED for years and then prostate cancer and prostatectomy. Tried Xiaflex with 4 cycles over 6 months and was useless. Few months later got penile implant and wish I had done it long ago. Surgeon manipulated penile tissue when doing implant to correct peyronie curve. Other than a bu...

Re: Titan show and tell
I had Peyronies 45 degree left bend for years and did Xiaflex regimen in 2016 with no change. Implanted in December and surgeon corrected Peyronies curvature with an incision and graft procedure at time of implant surgery. Wish I had saved the money and time and had implant earlier.

Re: Cycling to break up peyronies scar tissue?
I agree that Xiaflex not worth it. I went through 6 month regimen without success and got implant anyway.
I doubt can do injections of Xiaflex since needle would puncture implant rods.

Re: Any experience marrige counselling after RP?
Yes, your situation with RP is common on this board and it is tough on a relationship. My wife and I have dealt with the ED and incontinence since my RP. We talked about it and, as you know, there are psychological impacts for you and wife. We did not seek a counselor, but did find a great Urologica...

Re: Cycling to break up peyronies scar tissue?
I had Peyronies for about 16 years and developed 45 degree left curve. So it was well developed in my penis. A dr few years back before Prostatectomy told me the hydraulic nature of an implant may eventually break scar tissue and provide a straighter penis. In 2016 and 2017 had a new dr who assessed...

Re: Pain Med Supply
My surgeon prescribed enough for 7 days post-op and I had it filed at hospital on way out . I used full dose first 2 days then reduced to half dose for 2 days then Tylenol as needed. Added note, I had 2 surgeries at same time- implant and bladder sling for incontintence which may have added to degre...
