Re: Cannot inflate for some reason
I had the same problem with AMS implant at about 3 months post surgery. I believe it does have to do with totally deflating so that valve is reset. I noticed when I was having problem that it would seem to partially auto inflate at times. Once I started holding the deflate button down 10 secs and th...

Re: Position Matters.
Yes, I found that to be the case too ..... especially when I was doing injections. Solved my problem about a year ago with implant. Position has no effect on implant.

Re: Saw Palmetto
I assume you are talking about using it to reduce the size of prostate and thus improve urine flow. I have not taken saw palmetto .... my uro said it would not help. I had Green Light Laser surgery at the end of January .... The surgery was a breeze for me and it made a big improvement in urine flow...

Re: GreenLight Laser Therapy .... BPH

Urine is flowing great .... very small amount of bloody discharge but nothing to speak of. Doctor says to take it easy for 2 week...

Re: GreenLight Laser Therapy .... BPH
Well I had TURP surgery today using Green Light Laser Procedure this morning at 7:30. Went well and I left the hospital at noon with Foley in place. Had planned to have spinal block but after about 5 attempts to get needle in my back, I asked the anesthesiologist to give me general anesthetic instea...

Re: electrical stimulation
Has anyone here tried using E Stim after having an implant? Would like to know the results and if they had any problem with damage to implant. In this case it would be for orgasm rather than erection.

Auto Inflation AMS 700 CX
I experience auto inflation to approximately 30-40% erection from time to time with my AMS 700cx. It occurs when my bladder is full .... sorta like the old piss hard on. I thought that the implant had a valve that prevented auto inflation. I am having a problem with urine retention so I suspect that...

GreenLight Laser Therapy .... BPH
I am having a problem with urine retention and am considering GreenLight laser therapy for prostate resection. I would like to hear from persons that have undergone this treatment. Did you have a problem with urine retention ... did the procedure fix the problem? How long ago did you have the proced...

Re: pumping problems
I experience this problem quite often and I am 5 months post surgery. I find if I deflate entirely and wait a couple of minutes then it is easy to "crush" the bulb and freely pump it up. The Uro Dr just kinda shakes his head but has no advice ..... my technique works ... think I saw this p...

Re: Proscar or Finasteride
Thanks for sharing your experience with me. I have been on the meds less a week and I am experiencing a slight improvement. I believe for the long haul I might well have the Laser TURP procedure .... From all I can read, it seems like a great fix with minimal risks.
