Thanks for the reply. They inject in my hip 200mg/ml of Testosterone Cypionate every 2 weeks. I am seeing my family Doc. this week, and will ask if I should see a Uro MD. Everything has been working really good, and I don't want to tear everything apart.

Another Question about pain
Hi, I had my implant surgery on Dec. 2010. with normal recovery, and very good outcome. Here is my situation, two months ago my family physician diagnosed me with low testosterone blood levels due to age and the medication that I am prescribed. He started me on bi-weekly testosterone injections, and...

Re: Can Benadryl and gabapentin cause erectile dysfunction
I have been taking Gabapentin (neurontin) for over 6 months with very few side effects. It works very good for taking care of mild joint and muscle pain. It's better than taking narcotic drugs, or otc drugs like Tylenol which doesn't help much. ED can be caused by so many different things for each i...

Re: Implant with possible surgery for BPH
Thanks for all the replies. My family doc. has mentioned to me that the TURP is the only option that will work for me. Evidently the heat from any type of laser or microwave surgery will fry the implant. I have tried various medications like Flomax, and Raipdflo, but side effects have left me very d...

Implant with possible surgery for BPH
I have been in the shadows for a few years. My implant surgery was on Dec 2010 with a very successful outcome. Now at the age of 67, I am experiencing the usual problems of noncancerous BPH. Cialis has helped with the BPH, and improved my erections, but with ongoing kidney stones and weak urine flow...

Re: corticosteroids and Prednisone implant infection
I noticed your post today, William7. It has been a while since I have been on the board. My implant was put in over a year ago. Prednisone worked great for me in regards to daily joint pain for a couple of months. However, it just about cost me my implant when the infections couldn't be controlled b...

Re: some questions about my new IPP
HI, Mike is right, you do become more of a "shower". I had to buy some different underwear that was more comfortable, and gave better support. I had my surgery on 12/8 at Vanderbilt and there is still some tenderness when pumping it up. I notice that after trying to deflate that peeing is ...

Re: Considering Implant
Hi, As far as BC/BS is concerned keep checking, and get a written policy booklet, or go on line and read what the policy covers. My BC/BS policy said it did does cover the surgery, but the on-line person said it wasn't covered. I called back and talked to another person and gave the page number and ...
