Re: $ way more than I thought.
I've just gotten the insurance claim information on my implant on 12/3/13, total of just over $41,000. Total cost to me - $0 as I had already met deductibles and out of pocket for the year.

Re: AMS 700 LGX flaccid size ?
I am currently at the three week mark from my own implant with the AMS 700 LGX. I too notice that the flaccid state is less flaccid than my pre-implant flaccid state but I expected that. What I have noticed is that squeezing alone to help deinflate the implant is not enough but that if I squeeze and...

Re: trying to decide which way to go
I just had an implant by the intra-pubic, above the penis, method. Dr claimed it was better for faster recovery and fewer complications. So far he appears to be correct, pain mostly gone and swelling was minimal from the start.
All else being equal, experience should be the deciding factor.

Re: New member of the Borg Collective
Nine day mark. Just had first real post-op Dr visit yesterday and DR is quite pleased with how well things are going. Swelling and bruising is minimal and discomfort/pain fading daily. Some discomfort from the square corners of the pump on one side but working to pull the pump to preferred position ...

Or a little electric pump, maybe with a remote control. Could have some real fun with that.

Re: New member of the Borg Collective
Second day after implant and things proceeding as expected. I'm not experiencing much swelling in the penis or testicles but do have some at the incision site, Mine was done intra-pubic. Cutting back on painkillers and just making myself comfortable and using ice. Only thing that I hadn't thought ab...

Re: New member of the Borg Collective
There are sure a lot of guys named Dave on FT. I wonder if having the name Dave makes ED more probably :) Best wishes on your post-op, Dave Thank you. I hope being named Dave does not doom one to ED, maybe we need a government funded study to see if there is any connection. ;) So far my impressions...

New member of the Borg Collective
Just back from having an AMS 700 implanted. So far the worst "pain" is discomfort from the catheter. Arrived at the outpatient facility at 6AM and left for home by 10:30. Have an appointment to have the catheter and drain removed tomorrow along with removal of the drain and mummy wrap dres...

Re: i guess now im officialy done for,out of options and ideas
I see that Dr. Santiago Richter worked at Sapir Medical Center, perhaps contacting them and seeing if there is someone who has taken up where Dr. Richter left off. I wish you all the best in your search for a solution.
