Re: Is numbness normal early on

It's been longer than a few years since my duel implant, everything had gone great until last Aug when my AMS 800 (Urinary Control System) stopped working, it was a big life changer as I lost complete urine control and required 5 to 6 heavy pads each day. I returned to WPAFB Hosp, Dr who preformed m...

Re: Questions for those that already have an implant

I'm 75 (USAF Ret) had duel implant (AMS 700 and AMS 800) 4/1/14 in one operation at WPAFB Hosp due to prostate cancer (removed) Dr Shaw (Lt Col) is a fantastic doctor. Healing from implants (1 yr later) was quicker than the prostrate surgery. For me things turned out great, for my wife who is 30 yea...

100 days post duel implant

Had 2 implants in one operation (AMS 700 & AMS 800) as result of prostrate removal and severe ED. I'm 74 no serious after affects. I had concerns of being able to tell one remote control from the other, but that has been no problem at all. It still feels a bit crowded down there in the crotch ar...

Day 1 after duel imlants activated

I'm 43 days post op after duel implants (AMS 700 & AMS 800) (Prostate removal for cancer by surgery 18 months ago) I never recovered from serious incontinence issues, used a minimum of 5 pads a day. I found condom catheters and leg bag to be the lesser hassle of all evils and there was also the ...

Re: Titan Implant for the average guy

I am 74 and about 40 days post op from duel implant (AMS 700 & AMS 800) (Prostate removed for cancer by surgery) I talked to my Dr in depth about both brands. He recommended AMS in my case because of both items being made by the same company. He has implanted both brands but leans toward AMS bec...

Re: Is numbness normal early on

I am now 38 days post op from duel implant (AMS 700 & AMS 800) I too am experiencing numbness to the point of not yet reaching a climax in the 2 times we've played around with sex. PS I didn't tell my wife as I turned the tables and put her to sleep this time, she thought it was great. Bottom li...

Re: Virginia BCBS rejection of IPP

For what it's worth I'm military retired (AF). Had my duel implant (AMS 700 & AMS 800) done in a military hospital (WPAFB-OH) I have Tricare for life and MC, they covered total cost of everything, in fact money/cost was never brought up or discussed with me..

Re: Titan vs AMS LGX

I had duel implants 4/1/14. My Dr has implanted both, but slants toward AMS. In my case he went with AMS since I was going for duel implant because in duel implants he prefers that both devices come from the same company (AMS 700 and AMS 800). I've had no big issues so far although it does feel a bi...

Re: My Wife Asked

I'm 74, wife 44, 36 days post op after duel implant (AMS 700 & AMS 800) I've only used it 2 times for very light test, my wife thinks it's great, she said it feels the same and even better because of the instant control. I'm still a little numb down there, but getting better every day, very littl...

Re: Post Op so far

I am now 27 days post op, nave not tried pumping above the 40% inflation my Dr done. I'm still feeling around down there to make sure I know where the correct switches and button are since mine was a duel implant AMS 700 and AMS 800 in one operation. I'm 74 and still work a full 40 hrs (in office) I...
