Re: glans penis after implant
Hi Jackhammer (great handle btw). I too researched for weeks on the topic of implants which led me to this forum. My surgeon has nowhere near the experience of some of the docs I hear mentioned on here. There aren't many (if any) experts in Canada and there was no way I could afford US$20,000 or mor...

Re: glans penis after implant
Unfortunately I do have a problem with the floppy glans, a.k.a. the "Concorde" profile. Surgeon said there was significant fibrosis in the glans and was unable to dilate completely into it. The cylinder tips extend just to the base of the glans resulting in the head basically folding over ...

Re: Leaking urine!
Thanks for the suggestions. I do have an appt with uro in a couple of weeks so will get a professional opinion then. Also have started doing the Kegel exercises again whenever I remember to do them. Yeah it certainly can break the mood when I start leaking all over the place  I did read someth...

Leaking urine!
In January 2016 I had a non nerve sparing prostatectomy. Had a bit of a problem with dribbling urine for the first few months afterwards but by persevering with daily Kegel excersises it stopped and has not been much of a problem since. Three months ago I had implant surgery and still have had littl...

Re: some "loss of sensitivity" questions....
I was implanted six weeks ago. The underside surface of my penis is still numb from the tip of my foreskin to half way down my sac. I figured it would be back to normal by now. Hope to hell its not permanent!

Re: Cylinder Placement Question
Thanks for the feedback guys. Yeah I suppose I shouldn't be concerned at this point, it's only day 8. I did see my GP today regarding other issues and he had just received the surgery report, a copy of which he gave me. It seems the surgeon had difficulty dilating the distal corpora due to it being ...

Cylinder Placement Question
I recently posted regarding finally getting implant surgery on May 10. Recovery is progressing well but there is one thing that does concern me. The cylinders were left inflated about 20% or so after surgery. Now that the swelling has gone down I've been checking things out. I can feel the tips of b...

Re: Well- I Finally Got It Done
Ok so its a week postop for me tomorrow. So far so good I think. The swelling has reduced somewhat but still plenty of bruising- looks like I got hit in the groin with a baseball :o. Still uncomfortable but the pain has mostly gone so I'm managing with a couple of Tylenol now and then. The spot wher...

Re: Well- I Finally Got It Done
I had similar experience to yours. I wasn't too concerned about the surgery as I've watched every YouTube video there is on the subject. However apparently I tried to climb out of bed in the recovery room too and had to be restrained, hah! Pain was around 6/10 so another shot of whatever and I went ...

Well- I Finally Got It Done
So its been over a year since my non nerve sparing prostatectomy and I haven't posted for ages but the journey continues. I underwent radiation treatments last fall and so far the psa reading is still nil. Then in January I got a call from the urologist with a date for an implant procedure, and that...
