Re: starting the implant journey
I'm 50 and currently using a vacuum pump. I have an electric pump that charges up by USB cable and it seems to work pretty good. I have lost about 3 full inches in length and there is no elasticity anymore. When I do the stretch test, it doesn't move. I am probably 3 inches flaccid now and it doesn'...

Re: Just went through 3 months of Gainswave treatment
Initially, the VA approved me to have the surgery, then quickly rescinded. They told me I had to have the surgery at the VA in Augusta, GA. So I go to Augusta, and they won't perform the surgery.
so, yes, a big hassle. been fighting with them for 5 years to get approval again.

starting the implant journey
I thought I would document my implant journey. Started a few years ago. I was approved by the VA to see Dr. Kramer, as they didn't perform implant surgeries. Before I could get started, the VA rescinded the approval and told me to go to the Augusta VA to have the surgery. I didn't feel comfortable w...

Re: Just went through 3 months of Gainswave treatment
Grayfox, I'm right where you are. It looks like its gonna be an implant. I'm not crazy about the idea, but I can tell that my erections are never coming back. I'm just a small, shrunken noodle...............haha.
.
I contacted Dr. Kramer today to start the process. Just waiting on VA approval

Just went through 3 months of Gainswave treatment
Just thought I would share my journey. I'm not sure if my case is extreme or not. But I've had type 2 diabetes related ED for about 7 years, meaning I haven't had an erection in 7 years. 10 years before that, I could perform well with viagra, cialis, etc. I started trimix 7 years ago and thats when ...

Re: VA approved my implant today
Some bad news I think......... I called VA today and they informed me that they are now performing the implant surgeries at my local VA. My VA urology department has a lot of issues and I'm not sure that I am confident they can do a good job. I was told the only way around it is if they have a backl...

VA approved my implant today
I asked VA to approve my implant surgery a year ago (with an outside doctor). I've been moving around and working in different states and I lost contact with my Urologist at the VA. Well, I got a new primary doctor last week and asked her to start the process over again, because I never heard back f...

feeling depressed about ED and shrinkage
I have had some dark days recently and don't know what to do. The ED has been bad enough, but after I started injections about 18 months ago or so, I have had severe shrinkage in girth and length. I was issued a pump by my doctor and was told I could go back to my original size if the pump and const...

tried everything
Well, with the injections now failing and leaving me with a shrunken, curved penis, I'm thinking about an implant. I have been talking to the VA about approving the surgery and they said if it's approved, it would be paid for by them but performed by an outside doctor. They don't do surgery anymore ...
