Re: Implant and Age
Just turned 77 in September after being implanted last June. I now hardly know the implant is present except when it is needed. I do have a very loving and willing 75 y/o wife. Because of previous surgeries there was zero erection. Now we're back to enjoying this very important aspect of life. Good ...

Re: An Honest Post About my Journey
I wonder how many guys can climax during intercourse. If so how long did it take. I am eight weeks out.

Re: Hello from a the heart of Texas
Dear Bob,
Thanks for your supportive post even after an infection. Your experience is very reassuring. I got implant three days ago and am figuring out how to manage semi inflated member in terms of minimizing discomfort while I heal. This group has provided some good ideas.

Re: 3 days post op
I am 3 days post op today, too. Removed mummy wrap as per orders yesterday but had a very restless night due to "discomfort" in the area. Swelling is not too bad and discoloration is way better than I had expected. Shaft is semi inflated and I read very different recommendations as whether...

Thanks for info. I'll look up the shorts on Kohls. I do feel blessed that I have a loving partner to inspire and encourage me. I'm glad you are progressing well too.

After bladder removed June 2012 had implant yesterday
First day after surgery and needing no pain meds today. I have been using ice to keep swelling down. I think not having to pee the usual way due to bladder removal for cancer two years ago makes this procedure easier. (I hope). My Dr. In Austin sent me home bandaged up. The bandage comes off tomorro...

Hello from a the heart of Texas
I am an active 76 year old man eighteen months post radical cystectomy due to a bladder cancer that wouldn't go away with ordinary treatments. My surgery was done by an excellent physician at M D Anderson Hospital but in order to clear all possibilities of cancer returning it was non-nerve sparing. ...
