Re: Crystals in Trimix after 1 year in freezer. OK?
My pharmacist said to toss any injectables that show any form of crystallization. So I'd suggest to toss it.

Re: End of vial
Yes, the mixture does age even with refrigeration and is not as effective the further you get from the formulation date. My compounding pharmacy puts a 90 day expiry date on their mixes and I too notice a diminished effect as I near the end. You can increase your dosage when you get further out from...

Re: After implant were you really able to regain length
I talked to my doc about this very topic as I too am considering an implant, currently 13 months post RRP. I had read that a penile traction device before implant surgery helped to reduce loss of length and he concurred there is a benefit. From everything I have read the traction device should be em...

Re: If you owned an implant company or were a doc...
I can tell you what my doc said but first a bit of background. Diagnosed with PCa fall of 2010, had open prostatectomy Dec 2010. Path report was iffy, pT3a negative margins and no further treatment required at this point. All my PSA's have been <0.01, effectively zero. However, I was left with @ 30%...

Re: Numbness in my Penis after Implant
Quick question, did the surgeon make a lateral incision in the pubic area just above the penis?
Or, was the implant completely inserted through the scrotal incision?

Re: Sizing the LGX
Here is your answer from page 17 of the PDF. "Assess the cylinder length for satisfactory fit within corpora cavernosa by ensuring that the distal tip is snugly under glans, the cylinder lies within the corporotomy, and the proximal end is firmly against the crus. If not satisfactory, remove cy...

Re: Sizing the LGX
After a brief read through the pdf, it looks like the cylinders are sealed and come in various lengths, 12 cm, 15 cm, 18 cm, 21 cm. They are not assembled and sealed by the surgeon. In order to customize the length, the surgeon attaches rear tip extenders and they are stackable and come in 0.5 cm, 1...

Re: About to take the plunge!
I am pretty sure your pain is related to the full PGE1 and you'll get less pain with a bi or tri mix. Following my RRP the bimix wasn't quite enough for me to get 100% wood without topping out at nearly a full 1 ml, even tried the double strength bimix with not much difference, no pain but also no P...

Re: cost and where to get it
I have been using the bimix 30 pap/1 phen for a month or so. Gradually had to increase amount from docs visit of .50 to .80 which seems to well enough for penetration. I've asked my compounding pharmacy to mix up a double strength 26 pap/2 phen so I can reduce the amount to .40 or .50 which should h...

Re: what to expect?
The aching was probably from the PGE in the trimix. I've only tried the trimix gel which is inserted through the urethra using a plastic applicator and the PGE component was quiet painful, like a bee sting. I have since used bimix injections with no burning or aching as they are compounded with papa...
