Re: Implanted at 38 and concerned about size & revision
Thanks for the comments guys. Merrix, as always I appreciate your words. I have always found your journal extremely useful as a reference point. The last few days I feel like I have a slight swelling in the scrotum. I checked with Dr Eid and he wasn't worried about it. I think I got a bit carried aw...

Re: Where are 63panhead, donbecker54 and moethman
I'm back on FT now. I needed some time out to get used to the mental side of things and have just updated my thread. I have missed you guys though :D It has been a roller coaster ride with ups and downs and I just needed to focus on myself for a little while as after a long time I had a clear head a...

Re: Implanted at 38 and concerned about size & revision
Hi Guys, Sorry, have been off FT for a while. I was always planning on coming back to post but just needed some time out for a while. I was feeling great after the implant and wanted to focus on trying to get my life together. I started working out more regularly and taking care of myself more. The ...

Re: Implanted at 38 and concerned about size & revision
Yes you're right, my inflation / deflation skills suck big time right now. I'm having to unlearn the habits developed with the first implant. Today I switched to the right hand and though a bit awkward, I can already feel that it's going to be much easier, given the position of the pump. For the tim...

Re: Implanted at 38 and concerned about size & revision
Thanks guys for sharing your advice and your experiences. I think I must have been pushing it a bit much as my tips were sore all day on Saturday so I took a day off cycling. I started again yesterday but a bit gentle this time. No pain today which is good. I'll build up slowly as I'm so aggressivel...

Re: Implanted at 38 and concerned about size & revision
It's now been 3.5 weeks. I started daily cycling 1 week ago. At the moment it's just once a day for about 15 minutes, though duration is gradually going up. It becomes a bit painful towards the end. The tips start becoming quite sore so I have to deflate. My inflation and deflation skills still need...

Re: My Journal
Very informative discussion indeed. I agree with Merrix that one shouldn't need to hide when the partner already knows about the implant. I guess it still takes some getting used to, especially when starting out. I also agree with the comment about being embarrassed to take pills in front of partner...

Re: Implanted at 38 and concerned about size & revision
Thank you everyone for the kind messages. I know that I've only just started the road to ED recovery but I'm so grateful that things are progressing well the second time. Not everything is perfect of course but I didn't expect it to be. The angle for one is currently close to 4 o'clock and Eid did w...

Re: Implanted at 38 and concerned about size & revision
I had the sutures removed yesterday. I'm glad Dr Eid gave me the blade / scalpel as the local nurse didn't have it and would have really struggled to remove them. So finally the stitches are out and I feel like I'm truly recovering. Eid told me yesterday that he is eager to get me to cycle ASAP. Tod...
Re: 86 days
That's' quite an informative summary and explains your issues pretty concisely. It shows what can happen when the implant surgery doesn't go well. We all go into it thinking that the result will be amazing but nothing is guaranteed. I don't know whether it's you bad luck as Milam has a few followers...
