I believe acquired turtling is due to a loss of flexibility of the erectile tissue. If RP or otherwise has denied you a normal amount of quality nocturnal erections, it would make sense that the smooth muscle of the erectile tissue would tighten up.

I disagree. :) During a semi-erection the girth of your penis can increase without the shaft becoming hard enough for penetrative sex. Despite the name, the rigiscan detects changes in your girth, not your overall rigidity. I've read about impotent men who have sex using a VED and constriction ring....
