Re: Titan OTR Premature Failure
Had a Coloplast Titan implanted by Dr. Garber in April 2016. As I read the post-op surgical notes, I saw that a Coloplast Titan with Genesis pump had been used. When I met with the doc on a follow up exam I asked why he didnt use an OTR Touch pump. He replied that in his opinion those pumps had beco...

Re: My Ongoing Underwear Dilemma
I tried a bunch of different kinds but liked Under Armour Original Series 3” Boxerjock the best. Great support and reasonably priced.
Now after 3 or so months since implantation, back to good old tighty whities.

Re: Do you keep your implant totally secret?
Same as RelievedofED1 with only wife and doctors knowing. Otherwise I said "old guy surgery" when asked --- which seemed to satisfy everyone with no further questions.

Re: Cold To The Touch
Mine is the same with the implant as before. Basically warm to the touch.
Re: Ho Ho Ho
I received my implant on April 25, 2016. I used the refillable ice bags given me by the hospital to start - they were good, but we quickly ran out of crushed ice and sometimes they leaked. I also tried peas, ice cubes in a plastic bag and an old school English style ice bag. My favorite of all thoug...

Re: What's Going On?
I spoke to the doctor who called me back promptly and apparently I was one of the lucky 1% to get an internal infection. A week on antibiotics and lots of ice and the doctor indicates all looks good with further reduction in the swelling expected. I did follow up on KMeister & Roninhouston's sug...

Re: What's Going On?
Thanks for your responses. I think before I "out" the doc, I will call him and ask for more info. This seems to be a more fair minded approach than just dumping on him. I know much of the responsibility to get info lies with me and being persistent if need be. I will post once I speak with...

What's Going On?
Had implant surgery 4-25-16. Everything went very well until day 12 when scrotum became VERY swollen and turned black & blue as did base of my penis. Went to doc next morning who took a look at it but didn't say what he thought the issue was (he is not one to share much info). He prescribed anti...

Re: Anesthesia, Pain and First Waking Up
I have been lurking on this site for a couple months now. Got a lot of excellent info - THANK YOU EVERYBODY! Had implant done by Dr. Bruce Garber at Hahnemann hospital in Philadelphia this past Monday 4-25-16 at 7:30am. I was worried about pain and it was a key reason for holding off for a bit. Here...
