Re: Urolift procedure for BPH on an implant patient?

Had the urolift procedure about 10 days after getting my implant. No problems then or now nearly three years later. Good luck with your decision.

MK
I think you are worrying too soon. Give it more time. Keep pumping, you will get better at it. I don't have the Titan so can't advise you what to expect except to keep working on it. It was nearly six months before I got my maximum size. Either way Good Luck.

Re: Implant concerns @2 weeks~

The tubing and pump problems could be normal and just need more time; but, I would worry about the other factors concerning the pain from something pointed and the placement of the other units. Things may not have been put in right or they may have eroded to somewhere they shouldn't be. I personally...

Re: BPH Prostate enlargement treatment options after implant

Relieved, I had BPH problems before and following my implant. I had Urolift clips (6) installed post implant. Easy process and it helped greatly. I still take Flomax and the end result is "adequate". It has been two years since the Urolift. I believe that someday I will have to have anothe...

Re: Overcoming Trouble getting "Back in the Groove"

Lost, I have a wife of nearly 60 years and we talk all the time about most things. She was with me throughout the implant procedures. And yet, I find it incredibly difficult to approach her about sex now. We also have some physical problems but we know we can work our way through those problems. All...

Re: Prostate surgery after penile implant?

Ali et al; Good info for all of us that seem to be waiting or "watchful waiting" as the case may be. Your info and my other research seems to bear out that all will be well as long as one has a good surgeon. Now I'm just waiting and not 'worrying and waiting". Thanks again for the hel...

Re: Prostate surgery after penile implant?

oldbeek, I was aware of the 72 hour cutoff. Unfortunately this last test sneaked up on me and I had no time to prepare. I have previously used a one week program prior to PSA tests. All the sex I could handle for 4 days (to flush things out); then abstain for last three days before the test. It alwa...

Re: Prostate surgery after penile implant?

Tangerine, Thanks so much for the very informative response. I have been in touch with my implant urologist's office and am in fact waiting for a retest of psa about September 1, 2018. Next move will depend on that psa count. If it goes up, things will start happening and if it goes down, we will ho...

Prostate surgery after penile implant?

I have had my implant over 18 months and everything related to that implant is perfect. My problem however, is my swollen prostate has worsened and PSA is over 10. Much history in my family of prostate cancer so it is a real probability. My question to my implant brothers, has anyone had prostate re...

Re: Hello friends...

roksolid You are dealing with a whole lot of stuff right now. If I was going to give any advice it would be to take the problems one at a time and keep moving on. The one thing I would weigh in on is the ED. I suffered many years before I could get relief in this area. The implant is a major thing a...
