I'll add my $0.02 here, as well. For me it was definitely worth it. From reading the forum, it's clear that there are no guarantees, but the odds of success are favorable. For many, being able to function again is invaluable.

Congratulations, and I must say that I'm impressed that you're online and posting the same day as the operation. I spent a night in the hospital for mine and really needed the recovery time (probably mostly due to the anesthesia).
