Re: Single Men & The Female Opinion

Defiant, Sorry for the lag but I’m not on here that often. Like others in here have experienced the implant :D was part of the reason we split. The ex was the one who informed me her friends husband performed the surgery and suggested a consult. After the post-op cool down period she was hesitant an...

Re: Single Men & The Female Opinion

I was with my partner for years when I got implanted but we split 2 years ago… since then I have been with ~10 women. Some of them I explained right before intercourse that I had ED for 20 years but had surgery to correct. Most had never heard or seen it and all were happy to continue. Some I decide...

Re: Masturbation with a new implant

I was about 2-3 weeks post surgery and felt my pain level was decreasing when I decided to take it for a spin. Was able to ejaculate but was very painful after and felt like I set back my recovery about a week.

I would wait until you get a green light from the doc.

Re: Concerts and events detectability

Same as the others... I’ve been through TSA several times and never had to pull out my implant card. I do carry it just in case.

Also been to many concerts and been through detectors and been wand scanned without a peep.

Re: Pump bulb attached to scrotal skin

My pump is stuck to the bottom of my scrotum pretty much same as you described. I spent many baths trying to pull it apart and get it free with no success. Doc said it wasn’t a big deal and I should leave it alone. I’m 8 months out and it’s still adhered but doesn’t bother me at all. I actually feel...

Re: Scheduled for implant on 2/28

Congrats Luna!

Looking forward to reading your updates when you feel up to blogging. Days 3-5 were the hardest for me post-op. Stretch out those pain killers if you can to get over hump.

Good luck tomorrow!

Re: Serious Buyer's Remorse today....

Gruff, I definitely had a few days/weeks of feeling like I made a huge mistake and felt hopeless I had made an irreversible decision that will forever haunt me... it took a few months post surgery before I started to feel like I made the right decision. As others will say it takes time to feel bette...

Re: wife (she turns 60 this year) no longer likes sex -- it hurts (so getting an implant was a waste--maybe ?)

Once again I can’t count on FT to have some insight to a issue I’m struggling with about sex. I’m dealing with a similar situation with my GF not interested in sex. Was she EVER interested in sex. I know this might be a dismal thought, but perhaps part of her affection for you was the lack of sexua...

Once again I can’t count on FT to have some insight to a issue I’m struggling with about sex. I’m dealing with a similar situation with my GF not interested in sex. We have been together for 3 years and was with me prior to implant so I feel she has helped me immensely on the process and recovery. W...

Re: The Implant Journey Begins...Days 1 and 2!

Congratulations brother! Read your journal and was exactly how I remember mine with Gross. Great team at the hospital and really made the whole process seem less stressful than I expected. Follow the orders and get plenty of rest. Day 3-6 were the worst for me with he pain, swelling and discoloring ...
