colonoscopy & implant

Folks,

Just wondering if there are any issues with having a colonoscopy when having an implant ?

Do you have to tell the colonoscopy doctor that you have an implant ? would they be able to see it ?

Dont want to share too much information if i dont have to.

thanks,
Pal

Re: What are the signs of an infected implant?

The major signs that you can see are pump stuck to the skin and/or thickness around pump and valve that is increasing. High white blood cell count would confirm the infection.
If you get an infection within the first 4 weeks after surgery it means it is aggressive and a salvage may not be possible.

Limpbizcit ,

You say the antibiotics affected your kidney function. Was that only temporary while you are on them or long term.

Thanks,

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the advice and encouraging words. I have been feeling down last few days about the pain and not being mobile, but your kind words do help. Thanks. Alibaba, I have the touch model, but even though I tried I don't think I can activate that feature yet. May be when the ...
