Re: Introduction and implant info
My medical history is very similar to yours. First Peyronie's then a year and a half later surgery for prostate cancer (3+4 gleason). Also lost around an inch and a half penile length. I have original medicare so insurance was not an issue. My understanding is that if you have ED caused by prostate ...

Re: Now bionic as of May 1 thanks to Dr Andrew Kramer
Welcome to the bionic brotherhood! Great video too, thanks for sharing. My implant three months ago was with Dr. Kramer and I stayed at the Days Inn also. Can't beat the price at $99 a night. I hope your recovery goes well!

Re: AMS pump problems
I just searched PubMed's peer reviewed medical journal database for IPP pump comparisons but did not find much. There is one study comparing the Coloplast Genesis to the newer OTR pump but that is about all I could find that is somewhat relevant. Below is the link to that paper: https://www.ncbi.nlm...

Re: AMS pump problems
I may be wrong however my understanding is that AMS has been in the implant business longer than Coloplast and most likely has a larger number of implanted devices in use. If this is true (and again I could be wrong) then the number of AMS pump problems shown on PubMed could be higher simply due to ...

Re: Very Natural Hang
I'll post my question here as it is closely related to the original question. I'm now 3.5 months post-op with an AMS CX and I'm not sure if I am deflating entirely. To deflate I push the deflate button or 4-10 seconds until the hiss/gurgle sounds stop. I then wait a minute or two and push the button...

Re: Crease / bent cylinder
Indeed the AMS CX cylinder is supposed to be stiffer, so this could be contributing to the crease. My penis also hangs around 30 degrees to the left which puts extra pressure on the right cylinder. Since I am still only 3 months post-op hopefully over time my penis will lengthen some more and correc...

Crease / bent cylinder
I have a quick question today. When inflated, both cylinders feel smooth from bottom to top. When deflated though the right cylinder appears bent with a crease, like a bent plastic straw, about one inch up from the base of my penis. The area is a bit sore there but perhaps because I've been pushing ...

Re: Pump bulb attached to scrotal skin
Oldbeek, your issue sounds like it was more painful than mine is now. I have tried hot water in the shower to separate the skin from the pump bulb. The attachment is a bit less now and a bit more comfortable however still not good. I will keep trying to detach the skin from the bulb and hopefully ov...

Pump bulb attached to scrotal skin
The base of my pump's bulb seems to be attached to the bottom of my scrotum. This is similar to a ping pong ball being glued to the floor. The attached skin area is circular with a diameter of perhaps a quarter of an inch. Is this normal or should the entire pump be able to move somewhat inside the ...

Erection Not Pointing Straight
Hi. I'm 8 weeks post-op and have noticed that my flaccid and erect penis all point about 20 or even 30 degrees to the left. Erections are straight as an arrow but if I am standing up my erection is horizontal but aimed towards the left. I assume one cylinder is longer than the other. Will this corre...
