Sorry Larry, I wasn't very clear. I am 4 weeks post op, no visible sutures. The bleeding most likely came from irritation. Plus, I am on antibiotics, just in case. Anyway, the bleeding stopped pretty quickly.

Thank you all for the responses, they are incredibly reassuring. I started bleeding again after cycling on day 3, but my dr isn't too concerned about it. Sorry, Kosh, that is a huge bummer. We waited 11 yrs to get another couple of pets. The emotional investment can take its toll, but like kids, the benefits outweigh the heartache, most of the time.
