Re: Pump Healing Process Help (pump/varicocele tangle?)
I have a varicocele on the same side as my pump bulb. Was very frustrating early to not be able to feel the bulb easily because of the swelling. Ice and hot baths. Within 30 days the swelling diminished and I was able to cycle. Was hard to be patience but it all resolved in time. I'm now almost 1 ye...

Re: Won’t deflate
To fully deflate I hold button till I hear/ feel the click. Then I squeeze my penis tip to base while applying pressure to the rest of my groin and peritoneum area. I can feel the fluid transfer to the reservoir. Following that I quickly squeeze the inflate bulb till it pops to prevent auto inflatio...

Re: So scared to do implant surgery
I also told my urologist "I only want to make love to my wife again!" We did the implant and it's the best thing ever. Sex is great. Intimacy is back. Couldnt be happier. The first few weeks were no fun, but pain will be forgotten the first time you use it.

Re: Sticky pump difficult to click valve to start pumping
My AMS didnt work reliably till about month 5. Now when I want to use it, I hit the deflate button and squeeze all the saline out of the implant. The inflate valve "pops" first time, almost everytime if I follow that process. It just needs to be broken in.

Re: Recovery time
I had the luxury of being to just do nothing for a week. Ice, ice, and more ice for the swelling. I was driving in 3 days and was uncomfortable for about 2 weeks. Your sac will get used to it's new friend. My wife now calls them the "triplets." Get a good jock strap and some baby socks to ...

Re: Are you constantly reminded of your implant?
It's been about 6 months for me. I have to chuckle at some of the questions here because I asked my surgeon the same ones before I found this forum. Thank you FrankTalk. Penoscrotal or infrapubic, how long will the pain last, the swelling, bruising, ice and hot baths, semi hard on, I had it all. Wha...

I've tried it both ways and still auto inflate to some degree either way. Makes no sense but I can live with it.

Re: selective ED
Go find a good urologist who specializes in sexual health. I've been a type I, insulin dependent diabetic for 30 plus years. I'm well controlled, but the first place peripheral vascular disease showed up was my penis. Suffered for years. A simple doppler test will diagnose if you are a candidate for...
Re: SECURITY
I lit up the whole body scanner up in St. Martin recently. Had to get patted down by security. It was a bit embarrassing when he stopped with his hand on my semi erection and looked up. I just smiled. He backed off quickly. Wasnt fun at the time, but I can laugh now. The metal detector in the states...

It's your first rodeo, not his. He'll just smile and wish you well. Mine did. Congrats on the start of your new sex life.
