I didn't have a spinal cord injury but found the trimix was too restrictive, cumbersome, and inconvenient. I tried it for 3 months and had an implant and haven't looked back. It's been such a morale booster.

Selection bias. Those with implant failures may be more likely to post here and those without issue not, so perception is skewed.

Must have been a strain. Took ibuprofen for a few doses and I'm fine.

I agree that it's probably related to the vein ligation. Kramer said it could also be related to a "crinkle" in the cylinders and keep an eye on it.
