Re: Implant Surgery A Bust
I posted the original post in this thread in January, 2020 and am remiss in following up. I had the revision surgery on February 18, 2020. Prior to the surgery, he was able to get the pump to work, but never consistently. We thus suspected a fault with the pump device itself. The surgeon only needed...

Re: Recovery from Revision
My AMS LGX never worked after bring implanted in November, 2019. Reason for the failure is still unknown, but probably was a faulty pump. I had a revision surgery in February, 2020. It has proven highly successful. Better than anything attempted prior to the surgery (ed drugs, injections, vacuum pum...

Re: Implant Surgery A Bust
I'm unsure how your surgery and postop went, but I was left inflated overnight the first day, On the second morning a doc deflated the device. I wonder if that protocol would have shown a problem with the device? During the surgery the doctor fully inflated the implant cylinders. He sent me home wi...

Re: Implant Surgery A Bust
It hurt to read that. I’m truly sorry . For wheat it’s worth if I were facing the same thing I’d be doing the same thing as you . I’m sure youve thought of it but I would contact someone...another physician, maybe a lab.....to take possession of the original implant once it has been removed so that...

Implant Surgery A Bust
I was implanted with an AMS 700 LGX on November 11, 2019. I had a fair amount of pain and more so, discomfort, falling the surgery, but all of that mostly subsided in the many weeks subsequent to surgery. The last to subside was the pain in my scrotum which delayed attempts at cycling the device. Ab...

Re: My scrotum is really getting sore
My surgery was on 11/11/2019 and I have yet to successfully cycle due to soarness in my scrotum. The doctor has been seeing me every 2-3 weeks and has chosen not to push cycling just yet. It has improved a good bit the last two weeks and I hope tomorrow’s appointment will result in a successful infl...

Implant Will Not Fully Inflate
I saw my doctor this morning. I am 7 weeks post surgery. While he was able to deflate the implant, inflation was still uncomfortable, and he was not able to fully inflate the implant. He said the bulb is filling, there are no leaks, but he could not fill it to a full erection. He told me not to atte...

Re: Cold feet setting in
I had my surgery almost a month ago. The first few weeks of recovery were difficult for me. See the post “pain after implant”, and one other I wrote which was a follow-up. I found the pain meds mildly useful, but not much of an aid with discomfort. What was helpful was: (1) frequent icing (2-4 x per...

Re: My implant journal—Kramer Urology, AMS 700 LGX
You might want to try a fiber supplement like Metamucil. That along with Colace worked for me to overcome the constipation. I mixed it with OJ using the instruction on the side of the canister. Good luck!

Re: Irritation From Implanted Pump
Since you indicate above that you are dubious about your ability to activate as it stands now, I assume you aren't on a cycling regimen yet. I have been cycling since my 2-week followup, 15 days later (Tues 11/12). Different doctors have different time tables and regimens though so it's not surpris...
