Re: Cronic Prostatitis and infection risk
I'm no surgeon but I don't see how, as the implant is outside of the urinary tract. they will put in a Foley catheter for a short while so that could possibly affect your prostate. definitely ask your surgeon lots of questions

SCROTAL HEAVINESS WITH PUMP
Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. If im standing or walking for an extended period, I feel a dragging sensation in my scrotum, presumably from the heaviness of my AMS lgx pump. It then can radiate up into my abdomen as a cramping sensation. Lying down for awhile makes it go away. I'm go...

I'm experimenting with UFM underwear, which has a drawstring scrotal support built in. google it....it's a bi...

mine did veer to the left slightly. When inflating I would pull it to the right and now it is mostly corrected. You wont hurt anything by doing this.

Re: Painful first cycling after implant
I almost passed out on first inflation. I wasn't really comfortable with inflation until week 5 or 6. I had pain on penetration until maybe 6 months. Everyone heals at different rates.

Re: What to expect?
Every insurance has different criteria and coverage. My policy covered me with no prior authorization and no questions asked.
Your doctor's office should work out coverage, but I would recommend calling insurance yourself just to make sure there are no surprises.

Waynetho's experience is almost identical to mine. I think we were both implanted around the same time.

I have the precheck. Never been able to bypass the scanners. Or do you mean you only go through the metal detector.
you only go through the metal detector.
