Re: Today's Dr. Eid visit (Thurs., 5/18/2023)
I read some of your previous posts, looks like you had not been able to inflate your device but Dr Eid was able to successfully inflate it? So is it malfunctioning or not? Dr. Eid opined that the device - - although functional via great (painful) effort - - merits revision. He emphasized that impla...

Today's Dr. Eid visit (Thurs., 5/18/2023)
My appt was for 11am. I arrived at 10:25 and was through the formalities and in the exam room at 11:02. The staff is the epitome of professionalism. Hell, men sitting on tables with the "family jewels" in view and they keep it serious-yet-welcoming. Dr. Eid entered the exam room at 11:06. ...

Re: Eid Day Happens in exactly 24 hours!
My attraction to malleable is, I believe, rooted in the failure of my currently installed inflatable device. And I know that is somewhat feckless and silly. You have both been supportive and I am grateful. Again I say, my final decision will be made only after Dr. Eid's counsel. Guys, I am excited a...

Eid Day Happens in exactly 24 hours!
The sands in the hourglass of anticipation are about to run-out. For at 11am eastern time tomorrow - Thurs., 5/18/23, I will enter the "office on East 63rd St." and meet Dr. Eid. I know the area well; at the foot of an exit ramp from the upper deck of the 59th St. Bridge on its' Manhattan ...

1. Believe in your choice to go forward.
2. Believe in your surgeon.
Remember - the benefit will outweigh the burden, and you will soon be fornicating like a rabbit!!!

Eid Revision Update
Nuts!!!
Got a call this morning. Seems Dr. Eid has taken ill and was forced to cancel all of tomorrow's appointment; of which mine was at 11am. His office will call me to reschedule as they, now, must reshuffle the schedule.
Get well soon, Doctor!
Will keep you updated.

Re: Eid Revision!
The waiting is soon over. This Thursday morning, I will be at Dr. Eid's Manhattan office to be assessed for a revision of my failed AMS implant originally done in 2020. I am excited. I am scared. I am hopeful. My 2020 implant was done prior to my prostate cancer diagnosis. Now, after successful rad...

Need revision - can I also recover lost length?
My AMS 700 cannot be pumped. A Uro with whom I consulted opines the device has failed, and a revision is needed. Based on my personal feelings coupled to some of what I’ve read on this site, I am leaning towards a malleable device. I am 74 y/o and type 2 diabetic. As a result of the first implant, I...

Revision & Dr. Eid
Gents, I am 73 y/o. I had an AMS 700 implant two-plus years ago. It became impossible to inflate about two years ago. A Uro with whom I consulted advised a revision is in order. I had to postpone it while I battled prostate cancer - a fight I won, thank goodness. The original implant robbed me of ap...
