Re: Prostaglandin E1 alone vs trimix?
Thank you.
Is the pain from PDE1 mostly during the PDE1-induced erection? Or does the pain usually last till after erection is over? For how long after?

Re: Prostaglandin E1 alone vs trimix?
Is the pain from PDE1 mostly during the PDE1-induced erection? Or does the pain usually last till after erection is over? For how long after? My local doctor is convinced that PDE1 does not cause scaring, he insists that it's a very well studied and safe drug, while Papaverine alone does cause scarr...

Pain from penile drainage. Is that permanent??
I had my first dopler sonogram 3 days ago. During the procedure a doctor injected me with 10mcg of PDE1 (0.5cc of 20mcg/cc solution, using 31g/8mm needle). The office was about to close in about one hour, but 1.5 hrs after the procedure I still had an erection, I told doc that it's OK and I will inj...

Re: Prostaglandin E1 alone vs trimix?
I think what GoodWood said was fairly accurate. I will try to expand a bit. However, I'm not really sure how accurate I'll be so bear that in mind. I don't actually know which individual drug came first but I don't think it was the alprostadil. I believe Prostaglandin E1 (PGE-1, Alprostadil) was th...

Prostaglandin E1 alone vs trimix?
What is the general idea behind trimix vs Prostaglandin E1 alone? In other words, what are advantages of Trimix vs Prostaglandin E1 ? Was trimix introduced because Prostaglandin E1 alone lacks efficiency? Or because trimix requires lower volume to be injected? If so, what's the problem with higher v...

Re: Preloaded Trimix syringe for travel: sterility concern?
When you travel with your whole vial in room temperature, you risk aging it faster. What if I get empty sterile vials, transfer a bit to it and travel with it instead, drawing from it into a sterile syringe before use, while the rest of the solution stays at home in that original vial? Is that the o...

Preloaded Trimix syringe for travel: sterility concern?
I did some research on this and other forums. Seems like it's fine to store Trimix in a preloaded syringe out of refrigerator for up to 30 days for travel, when refrigeration isn't available. I understand about pulling some more air to keep the solution away from the needle. But what about sterility...
