Re: Seeking Tips/Advice for Implant Recovery

Everyone has different tolerances to pain and everyone heals differently. I was very fortunate and had a very easy recovery. Used a LOT of ice first 6-8 days and was able to just lay around a lot the first week but got up and walked around every couple hours.By 4-5 days I was walking around in the y...

Re: Finally a resolution

Hate to hear of bad times with implants. Anxious to hear how your revision goes with Clavel if you use him. Houston is about 6-1/2 hour drive for me and that’s who I intend on using when the day comes for a revision for me.

Should be a simple call to Dr Hackey to get real numbers.

Re: Does Name Brand Surgeon Matter?

Big names are definitely the favored here but…. I would question how many IPPs you’re considering Dr does in a year. I would want one that does a minimum of 50-60 a year much less than that and he might not have adequate experience to deal with any particular issues he runs into on your surgery. Mos...

Re: Will my employer find out if I use my job-based health insurance?

I wouldn’t be concerned. I had to go thru my HR department about all my off time and used hernia repair with them and all others who questioned my time off. If the Dr or his practice mentioned this to your employer in any way than they would be liable for a large lawsuit. If you told your superior f...

Re: Penile implant with hard flaccid questions

Is has softened a lot. Still have a bulge but yes much softer than earlier on. I’m sure that either one would still feel firm for some time. Maybe titan would take longer and might never have a soft a flaccid but either way I would go back with which ever one the Dr recommended. Can’t go wrong eithe...

Re: The difficult choice of implant before surgery. CX or Titan

Dog ears are very uncomfortable for the first month or two. After this they start getting less noticeable and then around 4-5 months you just forget they exist. By the one year mark you’ll not think or be concerned with dog ears. I’ve had mine for 2-1/2 years and it has just become totally normal to...

Re: help please

Measurements are confusing. What length implant did you get? Would help to show the glands being bent over the tips when fully inflated. You’re only 8 weeks in. At this point for me, I was at least an inch short and it took 6-8 months before I had gained even half of that back. By the one year mark ...

Re: Penile implant with hard flaccid questions

The first few months of implantation you will be 100% aware of your dick! Every day all the time, setting, walking or doing anything.Especially since I went from a turtle 2” to a 5-1/2” minimum flaccid. And very firm compared to my non implanted. It gets better with time and by the one year mark you...

Re: does the implant prevent you from wearing jeans at all? underwear better tight or wide?

If they are skinny jeans you will see the bulge. I’m about 5-1/2” flaccid and it’s not soft so it shows a little. I wear separatec underwear. One style is loose and one style is supportive. If I wear a loose shirt with tail out it just don’t matter. You have to get used to being a shower….. end of ...
