Re: Max pumping
I'm having trouble getting it really hard (AMS 700). I start with a slight squeeze on the deflate valve to help it open and the first or second pump on the bulb seems to "pop" or release the valve to open and the first 4 otr 5 pumps seem to go well. Then it gets hard to pump, but I still w...

Re: Need it harder AMS 700
I don't believe I've lost much, when inflated is seems about the right size (as before) however, just too soft. Doesn't have the hardness that's needed. And I don't know if I'm pumping the full reservoir into the penis.... how do I know. I do know that it gets awful hard to pump, and then I wait a m...

Need it harder AMS 700
It's been a bit over 4 months since my AMS 700 implant and took a while to figure things out and get it working. I can pump it up reasonably, but it just doesn't get hard. I can have intercourse, but hard to get it in and keep it there. Are there exercises that I need to pay more attention to, or so...

Re: Airline Pilots
I'm retired airline, but still fly a small plane a bit. Non issue. I'd think that some of those 16 hour trips to hong kong or Sydney could be a stretch. However, you'll have an augmented crew and get a 7 hour break. The big issue would be those times when you just gotta pee. That was a hassle when I...

What meds are you using?
I'm on Myrbetriq for pee and works pretty well. Tried Tamulosin and didn't work well.
numbness
All,
It's been about three months since I had the implant and just now getting it to work. I have some numbness over the past several weeks and really affects the feeling. Even to the point that it's hard to tell if I'm in her. The numbness is on the tip and end mostly.
Will this improve?

Finally getting it to work
All, I'ts been a slow ride to get my AMS 700 to work.... I've had a heack of a time just locating the release valve and the pump bulb has been hard as a rock. A few trips back to the doc for instruction helped. Now, I'm getting some results. I hear the little noises that the pump or valve make as I ...

Re: Understanding the AMS 700 inflate/deflate
Well, saw my doc yesterday to get some help. He made it work right away, however was painful and felt like he was sqeezing my nut when pushing the deflate valve. Not sure why I couldn't get it to work. He said it was way to tender and gave me some steroids to calm me for the next week and said, don'...

Re: Bladder control
I guess the questions needs to be asked... how long does this go on. When I finished prostate cancer treatment over 2 years ago, I had issue with bladder control, but was controable. Even after the urge to go, I always had enough time to find a toilet. However, nine weeks since implant and it's a lo...

Re: Understanding the AMS 700 inflate/deflate
I've just barely got some signs of things working. Actually heard a bit of something flowing, kinda like a spurt. Also, the bulb is squeezing a bit better. Will keep trying. Thanks again for the ideas. Honestly I can tell you pretty confidently what the problem is - you've gotta be patient. Implant...
