Hard bulge on side of penis and rotation after inflation. Anyone get this? (Pics)

I'm visiting my doc on Monday to see what's up, but anyone else get an issue like this? It's more pronounced after inflation, but I have a hard bulge on my left side that isn't the tubing or the pump, and my penis now rotates slightly counter-clockwise. Just started happening recently. https://t95.p...

Re: Cylinder dislodged and now I need another surgery

Just got back from the doc. He said because of my hematoma, the left side must have gotten weaker and couldn't take the use I've been putting it through, causing the cylinder to dislodge. He said he's going to put a graft on it to strengthen it and prevent it from doing that again. Good news is that...

Cylinder dislodged and now I need another surgery

I woke up today and decided to do some cycling, but noticed the left side of my shaft was very squishy under the head, and the head also started curving to the left. I got heavy pressure on the same side when inflating, too. Even more annoyingly, I then noticed something kinda sharp poking into my p...

Why do you think inflatable implants are two cylinders instead of one big cylinder?

Curious why the design is two smaller cylinders put together instead of just one large cylinder.

Re: Needing answers about AMS implant.

The 18cm AMS only requires a 100ml if using the concealed resovoir. 65ml is sufficient with using the other one, according to the AMS documentation

Re: What does it feel like?

I think the last time I was getting natural erections without the help of Viagra or Cialis was as far back as sophomore year of high school. Sex with the implant feels totally natural for me, with the only difference being the before and after of inflation and deflation.

I'm not so sure that RTE's are as bad as they're made out to be

There seems to be a lot of stigma on the forum against RTE's, but there are still a lot of high-volume implanters that use them. At least this study seems to show that there could be some benefit beyond instances where using them are necessary: Biomechanical Comparison of Inflatable Penile Implants:...

Re: Revision: AMS LGX to CX (Dr Loh-Doyle, USC)

Thanks guys. I had my follow-up today and the healing is progressing quite fast. There's some slight hematoma left that Dr Loh-Doyle says will go away on its own. He's gonna see me again next week and just told me to stay on the antibiotics until they run out. He said he talked to other high volume ...

Re: Warranty on devices and revisions

My doc said AMS would likely cover warranty for an implant that fails, which would be costs related specifically to the device. But the patient is still responsible for covering costs related to hospital and surgeon fees.

Re: Are early revisions common?

My doc said that the cases of implants lasting 15+ years are typically for older men that aren't using the implant all that much. Based on my sexual activity, he said I should expect approximately 5 years. I needed a revision after only one year due to an issue with the valve, but he went ahead and ...
