My tubes will have to stay as they are.
The MRI highlighted a large amount of scarring that is stopping the tubes being the same length.
Oddly, I feel resigned to that and it now doesn't bother me.
It works and you can't see anything wrong.
Onwards and, literally, upwards.

Re: My implant journey - a long running saga
I now have an appointment for Wednesday to see my surgeon.
I don't know if that's too level the cylinders, tell me he can't do anything or tell me about something the MRI scan picked up.
I'm hoping for the first.

Re: My implant journey - a long running saga
I was 100% correct when I chose the title for this journey thread. I received a phone call today from the hospital saying they've had a cancellation for an MRI scan and would i like it? Surprise, surprise but i said yes please. Once my surgeon gets that scan he can then go about getting my cylinders...

Re: Change in skin pigment after implant
Mine did exactly the same discoloration.
However it's nearly all back to the same normal colour now (after about 6 months).

Re: Gay Frank Talk members?
Hi there.
Same sized implant but smaller reservoir. Don't understand that but will discuss with the surgeon on Wednesday.

Re: My implant journey - a long running saga
Hi both. The infection is visibly getting better. Sperm is back to its normal color so that makes me think that my doctor made the right diagnosis and treatment. My testicle did swell up to twice normal size and it felt as though I'd been kicked in the family jewels. Back to normal now but continuin...

Re: My implant journey - a long running saga
Hi folks, thanks for replying. I had my last surgery about 7 months ago so this is not connected to that. Perhaps I scraped the testicle when inflating, or something collided when wearing trousers. It could just be an infection i would have had even if not implanted. I have an ultrasound on the 24th...

Re: My implant journey - a long running saga
I now have an infection in my left testicle.
My sperm is an unhealthy brown/red color, so two weeks of antibiotics.
I'm curious to know if this is more common? After all, there's a foreign object down there.
Ian.
