At a crossroads as a young man (31) - How to psychologically prepare for the possibility of an implant?
Hi all, Long background so if you want to skip to the q's they're at the bottom. I first posted here around a year ago. I'd been struggling with ED since I became sexually active at 24 (has since been an issue in all of my sexual experiences, all hookups), and linked it to performance anxiety. In Ja...

Re: 30yo, just had a doppler and doctor told me implant was inevitable - advice welcome
Penile Doppler ultrasounds for the diagnosis of erectile function are the absolute worst test there is. So many factors at play that affect the outcome. I’ve had several and got wildly divergent diagnoses. He probably used the min dosage plus you’ll have likely been nervous. A Nocturnal Penile Tume...

30yo, just had a doppler and doctor told me implant was inevitable - advice welcome
Hi all After hearing about venous leakage I decided to book a doppler ultrasound to rule out any physical causes for my ED. Being fairly young and in good shape I assumed it was all in my head, however after the injection failed to muster a semi my doctor told me I had severe vasculogenic ED and tha...

Hey, early 30s and my situation sounds very much like yours - good luck with it all I'm sure you'll be satisfied with the outcome, and congrats on taking this matter into your own hands.

Recovery from replacement surgeries easier than first time?
Hi all, I'm 30, have tried pills and am undergoing therapy at the moment. No results yet and an implant is coming into view as a real possibility. Given my age I'm assuming if I did proceed I would require a few revisions and replacements over the course of my life. My question is whether recovery f...

Re: Risk/Reward
The psychological side of all this really does take its toll. Now I'm stuck between having absolutely zero confidence to pursue women with what I've got and being very cautious about getting an implant at this stage in my life. It's honestly fubar. I know what you mean. Managed to book an appointme...

Re: Implant at the age of 23.
Hey man, I am 31 and got my implant 6 months ago. I was your age when my ED started and I should've gotten the implant then instead of wasting 7 more years avoiding sex because my dick didn't work. Now of course I can have sex whenever I want. Let me know if you have any questions Hey - similar age...

Re: Do I go for the implant now, or give it another year?
I'm a similar age but currently single. Dating with this issue makes things complicated to say the least, and I'm also in two minds between taking the plunge now and reclaiming my life, or waiting to explore other avenues. What's helped put me at ease is making a list of all the alternative options ...

Re: Risk/Reward
Hey, I recently turned 30 and am in a similar position. I relate a lot to the tension between continuing as is and maybe meeting someone as things stand or finally taking a risk and approaching life and dating from a place of confidence. As for your question its impossible to tell. If you go with a ...
