Re: Pain from pump
I needed some support after my surgery. I bought the David Archy dual pouch underwear. It’s all I wear now…so comfortable.

Maybe the porn industry is missing a genre…eroticizing implants on straight and gay men. Three cheers for erections!

Re: Fun sex with Implant
Sounds like you are prepared for the worst. Good plan. You may not need any of your emergency preparedness though. ☺️ The only time I took pain meds was the two nights after the surgery, and I just took those to ensure a good night’s rest. Not proclaiming to be a macho man. If you need them , take t...

Re: Second thoughts about surgery
Hey Scooter, I got my implant about 3 weeks before my 69th birthday. I didn’t know about implants until I had a visit with the uro that did my surgery. The reason for visiting him was to increase the dosage of my quadmix script. Used it for about12 years before the results weren’t as dependable. My ...

Consider contacting the hotel’s front desk and asking maintenance to move it to the dresser for you. If asked why, just say bending that low to retrieve items is difficult for me.
You’re the customer. The hotel staff should be willing to help you.

Hang in there Forrest. The worst part for me was having the catheter removed. Your description hit the nail on the head. First couple of pisses burned like hell. Be good to yourself: rest, ice, and continue to follow the doc instructions. The WTF did I do thoughts will go away as time passes.

Rod,
Glad to hear your surgery went well and that you are on the recovery path. 70 yr old gay guy in Dallas. Implanted on 1/27/22.
Going on the Atlantis cruise from Athens to Barcelona on 8/4/24. My first gay cruise.
Take care. I wish you smooth sailing!
Rick

Re: Pain vs. Discomfort vs Sore
Big dog, I hope you have an almost pain free experience as I did when implanted on 1/27/22. My surgery was done as an outpatient at a surgery center rather than hospital. The doc wanted me to stay overnight so I had antibiotics through the night. I had anesthesia rather than a pain block. I had a ca...
