Re: Trimix duration?
You might need a different compound that is a bit less potent or you cut the dose in half to see what happens(ie 4 units vice 8). Or you could as your physician to give you a different presciption. I think I'd try cutting the dose first. You didn't specify which mix you are on so its really hard to ...

Re: Position when injecting
Generally inject standing, stroking a bit cause a bit of en so I can miss themgorgement and allow identification of surface vessels so I can avoid them. Laying down works but not a well as standing. Never really missed either way.

Re: There is always something isn't there.
I'm on Eliquis also. Not had any problems other than the couple of times I've hit a small vessel. Even then it doesn't seem to be much of a problem with a couple of minutes of pressure on the site. I find that its easier to see the small vessels with some stimulation first like having her stroke or ...

Re: TRIMIX Survey – WHERE ALONG THE SHAFT DO YOU INJECT?
I generally inject alternating between R&L at 3 or 4.Tried other sites further out (6 or 7) but its hard to avoid veins and I had bruising so I went back 3-4. Didn't notice any difference in effect, it does seem to spread better when I massage penis immediately post injection. Never had a missfi...

Re: New Enjection user need some help
Your best bet would be to go back to your urologist and ask for some help and/or advise. Or you could look for some of the resources on the web showing how to inject. If you are injecting appropriately and not getting any result perhaps the mixture needs to be adjusted. A good urologist should give ...

Re: Trimix-freeze or not to freeze
I freeze my trimix. Generally draw up 10 or 15 syringes and freeze them also and thaw out each dose as necessary. It only takes about 5 minutes to thaw completely in the syringe so its not a problem. I found one that was at least 2 1/2 years old a couple of weeks ago and it worked as well as fresh. ...

Re: How long did it take you to get comfortable?
Never really had any problem with injections. I ws very happy just getting hard again that from the first shakey time it has been easy. Following directions to the letter, using 30gauge 1/2 inch insulin syringes no pain and no hassles, always worked well. Your mileage may vary but the reward is wort...

Re: frequent injectors question
A little research into pharmacology of the drugs contained in Trimix shows the halflife of papavarine to be 30 to 90 minutes, phentolamine is 180 minutes and alprostadil given intracavernously is undetectable in the blood stream in less than 60 minutes. Typically 3 to 4 halflives of a drug are consi...

This is not medical advice and I am not responsible for your results. I know this is a bit late but hopefully it can provide answers to some of the points brought up here. I'm a retired nurse anesthetist with more than 40 years experience injecting various drugs into many parts of the human form. Pl...
