Re: Vasectomy AFTER implant
Anyone know if this is extra risky? I'm currently in Central America, and implants are really not that common so I'm afraid if I go to an average clinic they might fuck up my implant. Anyone hae knowledge about this? I'lll ask my surgeon too but would just like some other perspective & opinions...

Medical Insurance & pre-existing conditions: How is it profitable?
"The Affordable Care Act (ACA) has required health insurers to cover pre-existing conditions without raising prices, limiting coverage, or turning you away." Just something I'm curious about: how is this profitable for insurers? Doesn't this mean that people who sign up for insurance are a...

Re: Complications: Eight months in. Still having pain & issues.
Just an update over a month later: The surgeon eventually got back to me and I've been in touch with him since. I assume the issues in responding had more to do with holidays. I think he has been fair and judging of his work since the day of the surgery, it's fair to assume there was something that ...

Re: Complications: Eight months in. Still having pain & issues.
Take note guys. Undocumented complications like this are possible. For me, ongoing pain around the resevoir when working out is a serious hit to lifestyle. I followed up with surgeon's office since they sent me a strange message about having a bump excised (which had nothing to do with my original q...

Complications: Eight months in. Still having pain & issues.
I still get pain around the area where my resevoir is. It can be triggered by working out or exercising a lot. E.g., if I work out for multiple days consecutively suddenly I can feel tenderness & pain around the resevoir. It can be painful to the point of preventing me from working out further a...

Re: Early 30s Implant Journal (Australia)
It took a few weeks of following up with the surgeon's office to get a response. Small rant & some thoughts. I got an ultrasound which apparently did not show anything unusual. The surgeon didn't reply to me, but made some kind of response to what he thought I had said. I suppose this can be one...

Re: Early 30s Implant Journal (Australia)
8 Month Update: My sex drive has dropped back down last few months. So it seems unrelated to the implant. One ongoing issue has been pain around the resevoir. It improved with time, but whenever I'd work out hard at gym or whatever, I would sometime get pains that would last a few days after that. A...

Re: Early 30s Implant Journal (Australia)
Update: All is fine, I'm getting used to the implant. There are definite downsides and things I don't like but overall it was the right thing to do in my situation. Unfortunately, my sex drive has not changed or increased but I can have sex. And so when I do have a sex drive, I can actually do somet...

Re: Revision wait time & penis shrinkage
I asked the coloplast rep. If not infected and device malfunctioned there's no urgency to get a revision (from a length loss perspective). Obviously don't want to leave it for many years (but no circumstances in which that would be acceptable from lifestyle perspective either). But the point is infe...
