Re: Any pre-op advice?
Yes, make sure you really want to do this. From what I can tell this works out well for most people but for some it doesn't. I had it done a year and a half ago. It's been life altering in a negative way with ongoing pelvic floor discomfort since then (that I didn't have before) and it's worse after...

Can everyone else feel the Reservoir Tube?
I had the surgery 13 months ago. I can feel the tubes very easily at the top base of my penis and they are somewhat visible before disappearing into my abdomen wall. Is this common for other people? I'm still often sore around the tubes.

Re: How much do you think about your implant daily?
I think about it a lot but that's because I've had chronic pain since the implant. It went really bad but I am very much in the minority. This goes very well for most people. You do need a high volume doctor who's had a lot of good results. I used Dr Matthew Pollard in Nashville.

I had the surgery 13 months ago. I've had chronic pain ever since then. It's been awful. I didn't have this pain before then.

Re: Is the implant the best option for a young man?
I'll always have discomfort and problems. I was probably predisposed to not tolerate the surgery well although I think my doctor made mistakes. It's very important to get a good surgeon.

Re: 35, Young, Fit, highly considering Inflatable Implant
Do not use Dr Matthew Pollard!! I am awake and in pain right now at 12:45am after having the procedure through him a year ago. It has been a continuous nightmare. Please find somebody else

Re: Is the implant the best option for a young man?
I got a implant almost a year ago. I've had continuos discomfort and issues. I know it goes well for most people but I encourage you to only do it as a last option. There is always the risk of things not turning out well.

Re: Complications: Eight months in. Still having pain & issues.
Yea I also want to stress that this doesn't go well for everybody. I had my implant 10 months ago and unfortunately I've had chronic discomfort since then. Sexual activity makes it worse. I didn't have the discomfort and pain before the surgery. Implants can be great but everybody considering them s...

I also think you should accept that you have an unhealthy addiction and address that first. You were aware that you might injure yourself yet you didn't stop the excessive masterbation. Good luck to you

Re: 42 considering implant
For me it seems to have set off pelvic floor problems that I didn't have before and I also have discomfort in my right side groin and abdominal area. I was probably predisposed to this and the implant surgery set it off. Statistically this will probably go well for you so by no means am I saying not...
