Re: Injection long term users?
I'm at 9 years now using injections, approximately three 20-unit injections per week and no signs of fibrosis. One thing I always do after an injection at the injection point is massage that area for about 30 seconds. I rarely get bruises or any excess bleeding. I'd also like to add that for about f...

Re: Price surge in Tadalafil?
I take 20 mg tadalafil daily for BP and through GoodRX I get a 90 day supply for $39.00 so that is $.43/ea.

Re: Lost my nerve to inject
When I first stated injecting I used a 30 gauge x 1/2" needle and there was some amount of pain but not bad. I switched to a 31 gauge x 5/16" needle and man...what a difference! Literally zero pain! I have approx. 1,400 injections under my belt during the last 9 years and the 31 gauge insu...

Re: Trimix-freeze or not to freeze
It's the alprostadil that loses potency quickly when not frozen. If your tri-mix isn't really alprostadil dependent then alprostadil degradation won't really be noticed much if at all. I suspect that in a mix heavy with alprostadil you will notice degradation fairly rapidly. Keep in mind I'm not a ...

Re: Can a MD prescribe Trimix?
Yes, what bldoink said about educating your primary Care Doctor, but don't be surprised if he immediately tells you to see a Urologist to get an RX. I lost my Urologist too and asked my doctor if he could help and he did because he already knew my history with the meds for many years, but don't be s...

Re: Trimix was frozen during transportation, then thawed, is it a problem?
No, I've never seen it as a problem or seen any reduction in potency if it's thawed and then refrozen. I do that every time I refill syringes and then put the remainder back in the freezer multiple times. I'll also add that as an experiment, I removed a syringe from the refrigerator and let it sit a...

Re: Where to buy TriMix
TriMix works very well for me, have been using it for five years now. Unfortunately the compounding pharmacy (was in Idaho) that my urologist uses is no longer going to make it. I live in Montana, any suggestions as to a compounding pharmacy that I can use? The urologist doesn't seem to have an alt...
