Re: 3 Weeks post AMS surgery back running

As the title says I had the AMS implant done exactly 3 weeks ago and was able to get back to my normal long runs. Ran 6.2 miles but at a slightly slower pace which is fine. Honestly if it wasnt for the really sensitive tip the pain at this point is minimal. :D Good to read this! i am nearing my thi...

Re: For Those With An AMS LGX 700, What Is Your Length And Girth?

I'm 18 months post-op, and I'm at 6.8" and about 4.6" girth. A little longer than original and the same girth.
I stopped daily cycling at about a year, and now cycle a couple times a week, plus regular sex.

Re: Thank You Guys.....

At 2 weeks there is still a lot of swelling.
It's unlikely you'll be able to identify the parts by feel yet.
Be patient, and follow your doc's recommendations.

Re: implant Surgury

Boston Scientific AMS is one of the top 2. There’s that and coloplast Titan which I have. Thru tons of research and readin on here for years they are both great products. If you have any curving most Drs would suggest Titan as it’s a little more rigid. But don’t let that fool you both will get much...

Re: ATTN: Calling all AMS Pump Jockeys!

Be patient. I'm sure it varies, but 3 weeks out things are very much still healing.
That seems a bit early for cycling, but follow your doctor's instructions.
When cycling, pump up till you feel discomfort, but not unbearable pain. It'll get better with time.

Re: Intense pain

I also had a lot of swelling and pain, as well as bruising.
I did take a pain-killer a few times to sleep, but only for the first few days.
It did ease up after the first couple weeks.

Hang in there, and follow your doctor's instructions. You'll be glad when you find out how great it is in use.

Re: Broken Titan?

Just met with surgeon yesterday. Unfortunately looks like air leak somewhere most likely from the pump tubing. Deciding on getting a whole new implant vs. just changing out the pump for the classic pump per the doctors recommendations. Its been about 2.5 years since my last surgery. Anyone have jus...

Re: Implanted AMS LGX 21+1rte Dr. Andrianne, CHU Liege

15th day post implant Everything is going well. No bruising/swelling, little pain. This morning I woke up with a "morning wood". Pretty strange. PI is semi-inflated but with the "morning wood" it was about an erect size. But not strong enough to have sex with. I measured 17 cm (...

Re: Trading in new Titan for AMS after 90 days.

No experience with Titan, but I have the AMS 700 LGX. I'm very happy with it's performance. Hard-ons are like I'm 18 again. 8-) When flaccid, it does still exhibit a bit of "dog ears" where it bends down, but not painful at all, and only slightly noticeable by feel. If I were you, I think ...
