Hi all, Finally spoke with my doctor and we've started the insurance process. As you might imagine, my mind is swirling with questions. I believe I would be getting the AMS 700 model. Apologies as I'm sure you guys get these questions a lot. I understand the amount of questions is a bit overwhelming...

Working out with inflatable implant (CX)
Haven't done procedure but wondering how the CX would affect my exercise. I enjoy running and weightlifting. Does it get in the way? Any experiences are appreciated.

How bad is post-op recovery for implant? Can I still work?
My work is 90% at the desk with a computer but requires occasional lifting, etc. But if I let my manager know, they can just take over those lifting duties. Will I be limping around when walking around the office? That's fine but would just like to have my expectations set .

Do I need to have someone come with me on procedure day?
Trying to keep the procedure discrete for obvious reasons. Can I just uber to the hospital and then uber back home after? Will I be able to walk fine?
