I smashed my genitals up pretty bad. I'm 16 years going into this with the injury (almost 16 and a half) I damn near tried to rip my cock off with a death grip after gelqing and watching porn. I feel pain everyday and I believe that I am 78 % healed. I really started focusing on healing starting of October 2021. I slept naked so I wouldn't have to have pressure on my dick from clothing. I slept in my back so I wouldn't jam my erection into the mattress. Speaking of erections, I can get subpar ones but the tunica albuginea is all effed up around it. I can literally move the sheath of my penis while I'm erect. I get pain during the day as I try to keep myself busy, at night I like to stay at home. I get scared about taking extra rides (joyrides like to get coffee or so) because I don't want to damage my penis while driving. I can barely lift a 4 litre jug without hurting my dick. I also have implications on my pelvic floor. If my belly hurts or I feel a bubble that usually means there is trouble down there. This is a very sensitive injury. I've taken off over a month from work. Sometimes I shower twice a day to get rid of smegma. My inner voice (consciousn) is telling me to beat this in about 7 days I hope. One more week.
Dr bard told me it would heal in 2 weeks that was a lie. Dr McMahon told me it would heal in three months, so that would mean November and December too. That would suck because then I would have to shovel.
How many others on here have messed up their penis physically ? They call it hard flaccid disease at times. It's like a light bid (an easy sentence of jail). I also have low testosterone. Dr Silha tested me after I tested positive for low t. I go see him on November 22nd to talk about t- treatment, yay or nay. Dr Patel told me "there are testosterone replacement therapy receptors in the penis that can help heal the penis by doing trt. That is my dilemma right now. Just had to get it out to vent. Sometimes I question my sanity.

This is the common sense approach to alleviate penile damage: I'm not hear to offend, but many of us don't get a surgery as we are not that lucky.
1) sleep on your back
2)take inhalers for asthma if you cough at night. It isn't pleasant coughing while having an erection it is uncomfortable.
3) nocturnal erections (boners at night) will help yourself heal. A doc told me that one.
4) sleep with light clothing. Perhaps naked, with a thin sheet covering you
5) penile injuries need momentum, if you play with it you set yourself back.
6) hygiene: wash and rinse carefully as to not get krustees (hard semen stuck to your pubic hair)
7) no trichotillomania: don't remove pubes from your genitals
8) this one is either one or the other: if you take a multi vitamin it may send nutrients to your dick, if you don't take a vitamin, it may help with promoting scar tissue on its hope to heal.
9) excercise! Walking a few miles a day is great, good for circulation, produces endorphins
10) this is not yet tried but: testosterone replacement therapy: I can't prove this one till I try it. I will come back on here to comment about it in a month if all goes well...
Just like any top ten, there is a champion, so the champion advice is to keep praying. Many of us feel miserable, less of a man, debilitated, feel unwell, all the bad mental stuff, if anybody has more tips please share. I am in noways healed nor better than anyone. Don't know about testosterone receptors in the penis, but low T always produces depression. Get that fixed before anything! You'll think more clearly.
Age 79 in 2024. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.
