Appt with Dr. Ethan Grober

Hey guys....

I just went visit Dr Grober in Toronto, and i have at best mixed feelings from the appointment. I would say, the whole thing took no more than 15 minutes,for an appointment that took me 4 Months to get. Ridiculous. Although i had a report from another doctor which would fully explain my situation in better terms than mine, he said he didn't wanted to read it and prefered to ask me basic questions. Offered no explaination whatsover on what exams i could do or not do, and what the canadian healthcare system had to offer me, in what concerned ED.

Insisted in examining me physically which i denied, since it would be of no value. Basically agreed that traction would be "reasonable", given what happened to me, and for me to "try first medication and try to have intercourse".

Although he was very polite and didn't come across as arrogant or stuck up at all, didn't recommended that "went on this path so and so, because it would be better for me"...


FUCK! it's the only thing i feel like saying... why are urologists this way? What to do now? Pills seem to offer a big improvement, but make me feel like a junkie, and i have good and bad feelings about the implants. I guess i have to try to talk to eid or Kramer to see.... As anybody had a phone consultation with EID? is it worth it?

Not to be a jerk or anything, but how the heck is he going to make a diagnosis without an examination? Maybe I don't have all of the facts here, but if you're looking at a remedy for ED or an implant (I do apologize for not knowing all of the information) the only way a urologist is going to know something is to look at the organ in question. As an architect, if I had a client that wanted me to determine a structural fix but wouldn't allow me to look at the condition, I would not offer any determination whatsoever.

Your argument is valid. But, like i said i had a report from another top doctor where i went, that gave a full assessment of my condition. I wouldn't need to be telling my story. He could just read it, in 2/3 minutes and be done with it. Apparently, no.

So he does what with it? I told him he was not going to find anything in me. My penis looks normal on the outside, but the arteries inside are blocked because of the fracture, plus the scar tissue, fortunate, can't be felt. So, I wanted his help with the traction device and vacuum pump. To no avail....

I am agree with growingitbit, if pills are working you are lucky, and when I say pills are working I mean if they give you about twenty minutes of sex without problems to maintain the erection. If it is so... I would continue with the pills

They do, and CIAlis works great. But I am still not happy. And besides... Just 20 minutes? Who are we kidding here? I take longer masturbating, how could I please a woman like that in such a short time?
