Depression and E.D.

I thought you might be helped (as I was) by an article I just read from the UsTOO monthly e-newsletter.

Thanks David,
ED certainly amplified my depression. Being implanted has certainly had a positive effect on me in this regard.
When I asked my wife recently if she was happy that I had chosen to be implanted, she said yes and that the best part of it for her was the improvement in my mental/emotional state and how much happier I am.

In my life, it has been the reverse for me: depression (and the medications for it) greatly diminished my libido and subsequently led to E.D. A couple of years ago, my psych and I weaned me off of one of the medications (because I really did not need it anymore), and I found that my libido returned like a freight train coming down the tracks. I deal with my E.D. using a vacuum pump and cock rings (as I have reported elsewhere on this site). But my point is that psychiatric medications can affect your libido, etc.

Years ago I was placed on an antidepressant that made it impossible for me to climax. I would be hard, I would be turned on, but I couldn't cum. I was changed to another antidepressant and that did not cause me any orgasm problems. :D
