Psychogenic ED: two solutions

PDE-5 inhibitors (Viagra, Cialis, Levitra) are excellent but they probably won't do much in cases of psychogenic ED.
I've battled sexual performance anxiety for many years and today I can safely recommend these two oral treatments: phentolamine mesylate and apomorphine.
Phentolamine is my personal favorite. It is not an anxiolytic but it blocks sympathetic action in the penis. You take it as needed, 30 min before sex. I used to combine phentolamine with Cialis but there is an extra risk of side effects: headaches, tachycardia, nasal congestion.
Apomorphine is another treatment that deserves more recognition. Unlike Viagra, which only works locally, this one is a centrally acting drug that increases dopamine levels in the brain.
Always consult your doctor before you decide to try any new treatment or supplement.
