Weight gain since high school and depression

Hey everyone, despite the implant going well it seems I’ve gotten stuck into a depression cycle. I’m 24, graduated early and been working two years. On the surface everything is fine but the thing is I gained 50 pounds since high school. I went from skinny mini to Mr Fat. I get shit on everywhere I go . Everyone else from my school is so handsome and successful now.

First off, don't compare yourself to other people. I'm sure not everyone from your high school is successful and handsome.
Secondly, weight is something a lot of folks find tough to maintain. We get into habits early in life that aren't good, and breaking that cycle is hard. Healthy diet and exercise are what the docs will advise. Once you change the direction of weight gain the depression will disappear with it.

I was morbidly obese but tall so I didn't look all that bad. I went on Ozempic and have lost 60lb in over a year. I want to lose another 20 and then cut back to once pen for every two months. Lots of health benefits from the O outside of weight loss.

The way I lost a lot of weight was to just work on 300 grams (3oz) a week or fortnight. Regularly weighing (on digital scales) makes me think about what I eat. Feeling a little bit hungry is a good thing and has become normal. 300 grams is all it takes. But I can't go down the sweets aisle in the supermarket
Good luck. Drop back and tell us how you're doing.

Exercise will release a feel-good hormone. Go out every day and walk fast if you can, or run a little. Start slowly and work up.
I might add: Stay as much as you can out of elevators and cars, now truckopotamuses, sold as phallic symbols but are in fact enfeeblement machines.

Yes walking is great, we do an hour almost 4 times a week. Helps with everything.

Truckopotamus is a great term
