It seems I read something a while back that using certain cannabis products can enhance sexual activities. I have zero experience with any cannabis products. So I thought I would try a post here hoping that someone could enlighten me on the use and if it does indeed work. Thanks for your replies.

Re: Cannabis and Sex?
When I was in my teens, Cannabis really made me super horny especially hashish. Now I am in my late 60's and as Canada is now legal for pot and I live on Indian land with 30 pot shops on my way home; with the best quality and price. I now take Indica THC Gummies. I can highly recommend them as it still gives me a baseline hornyness and peaks my desire for sex. Also relaxes the body for the coming session.
If you live in the US they have a very good brand: Wyld which is top notch stuff.
Although I do smoke the occasional joint, I try to refrain as any smoking is bad for your lungs. Eating for me is far better.
Best thing is to wade into the pool, start with a 100Mg pouch of gummies and start with 10MG. Wait at least 2 hours, do not ingest more before then, as when you eat THC it takes time to enter he digestive system. WIth smoking the buzz is immediate.
I take about 50mg when I want the buzz or if we are going to have sex. Any more with a couple of Bacardi's and you can get a little unsteady on your feet. If you have any more questions fire away.

Re: Cannabis and Sex?
I've used pot for years. In my early days for the buzz, now it's my pain reliever. Yes, it has always made me horny. Maybe less now that I'm an old guy, but it does keep my back pain down. Less back pain = more able to have sex!
There are so many forms of cannabis to use now, gummies, flower, oils, wax, rosin, shatter, drinks and other edibles. The quickest effect will come from smoking, either flower or from a vape pen. Vape pens are filled with concentrated oils, potent and the extraction process uses chemicals that leave trace amounts. Wax, rosin, resin and shatter are mostly heated in a specific device to emit vapors you inhale. All are very potent. Gummies or edibles take a long time to feel the effects. Liquid drinks are the same, a long time to kick in. Important is keep track of how much THC you're ingesting.
Search up a dispensary website and scan the products. That will help you know what is out there.
And as Budward says, start slow.

Re: Cannabis and Sex?
i can certainly tell you from personal experience that it sure as hell enhances sex. of course that is my view, but we have been getting high and having sex for almost 4 years. we simply tried it for pain management that first time and when we were going to bed, my wife got a little frisky and that turned into the start of a wonderful night that still goes on to this day. i am on trimix after the pills stopped working. i shoot up and we get high. from then on its a crazy intense experience. it makes everytime seem like the first time. my wife has so many orgasms that are also more intense than anything else. i may only get one because of the trimix induced anorgasmia but when i do, it is mind blowing. we smoke it since we like the instant effect and do not like having to wait for edible to kick in. i would definitely give it a try. start slow first to get your feet wet and then get it on. lol.
50+ yrs old. married 25+ years. hypothyroid, on TRT. 10+ years ED, viagra, cialis now 50% ineffective. now on trimix 2MG phentolamine/30MG papaverine/20MCG alprostadil
Re: Cannabis and Sex?
Thanks for the replies! It us pretty confusing fir someone who never has used it. I'd hate to try smoking it as I quit smoking about 50 years ago. However I do like the immediate affect. How would I know how much is enough? Do you determine by how many puffs or is it by how you are feeling?
I took a look at a dispensary website and looked at chewables. Most of the gummies said 200mg. I couldn't figure out if that was per package or for piece. I suppose I could just walk on and talk to someone on the store. But I hate to walk in and be a complete dummy. That 's why I thought I would ask for help here.
The one question I was going to ask ischow it worked for women. My wife on a scale of 1-10 has a zero when it comes to libido. So that looks like it could be promising.
Also I would like to use it for pain management. I have chronic back problems and have been taking muscle relaxers and pain medication for over a week.
Thanks again for the help but please keep educating me.

Re: Cannabis and Sex?
Tried hemp gummies for pain. Better for sleeping BUT after two weeks started noticing 'loss of breath' in swimming pool. Googled for 'side effects hemp gummies' found they interfere with my thyroid medicine levothyroxine.

If you smoke it you'll know when enough is enough. Smoking can be harsh on the lungs so many people use a vaporizer. Those devices will heat flower to produce vaporized THC, much easier on the lungs.
The 200mg is more than likely the entire bag of gummies. Each should be 10-20mg each. Start with 5-10mg and wait 2 hours, see what you feel like.
My wife does not use cannabis, but in my single days I did find cannabis seemed to have a similar effect with females as far as getting horny. My first gf would smoke before I came home and drag me straight to the bedroom.
For pain management the gummies may be your best bet. Once you figure out a good dose a daily amount should keep the pain down. I don't use anything but flower because any of the oils, resins and gummies have trace amounts of the chemicals used to extract the THC. They all give me migraines, but edibles have never done anything for me anyway.
If you have more questions about cannabis, feel free to PM me.

Re: Cannabis and Sex?
Here in California recreational use of cannabis is legalized for adults over 21. My girlfriend and myself enjoy using cannabis prior to sex, as it enhances sexual pleasure for both of us. Our preferred route of ingestion is drinking cannabis infused beverages. You can buy them in a variety of different flavors in ready to drink bottles or cans (similar to beer) or in a concentrated form to make cocktails with it (similar to hard liquor). There is a faster onset than with other edible forms of cannabis, although not as immediate as smoking or vaping.
We prefer sativa strains over the indica strains of cannabis because we find that sativa strains are better for creativity, intimacy, and awareness of your surroundings, whereas indica strains produce more drowsiness and couch potato type behavior for enjoyment of doing nothing except absentmindedly watching television.

Re: Cannabis and Sex?
I forgot to mention that our beverages are typically between 5mg and 10mg per drink. One or two drinks per person is a good dose for enhancement of sexual pleasure.
