My wife recently had an alcoholic breakdown and finally decided to seek treatment. During her first meeting she misunderstood the AA 9th step that states that you should make direct amends unless it would injure or harm them? You should probably be really angry because she did cheat on you even if she was drunk on moonshine. She did put herself in a car with another man.

Regarding the exes, what's good for the gander is good for the goose. Your feelings are understandable but you don't have a leg to stand on with the jealousy. It was a long time ago. Let it go.

You are not the one who got raped, so you don't get to play the victim. Think of what she is going through. She needs you now to support her.

I do agree with you that a lot of the AA mumbo jumbo is rubbish.
