As others have said, the pelvic fat takes a lot of size away.
I’ve taken my health very seriously, and a part of that has included losing fat. At my fattest I was around 22% body fat. I’m now around 16%, and the difference for me is about half of an inch.
Also VED therapy. Keep the tissues compliant!

Re: What is considered a small penis?
I'm about 10 months post-op since surgery. I went into surgery with about 6". But due to significant Peyronie's Disease that my surgeon had to straighten out during surgery before placing the implant, I came out with about 5.5". I've gotten a little back with cycling and use.
On the plus side, I now have a dick that's always "up" for it. So definitely not complaining!

I have read that some posters believe this site is run by men with large cocks. FYI.
Me, although I will be in the average group is just over 7 weeks post op so I don’t even post on the polls that ask if I lost size etc.
I was actually thinking that having a post like “dick of the day” may be something to think of if it’s related to members that do not fall under not the large category.
However it’s worded needs thought out well as not only do we have to go through Ed we go through it without a large dick and when someone chastises size it’s not cool.
I think no matter where it is, online or real world, larger guys are generally going to be more confident about others seeing their penis. Guys who are smaller...or even just believe they are smaller will generally be more shy. So I think the overall outcome for everyone is that we tend to see mostly dicks on the larger end of the scale even though the statistics suggest that they are not the average.
ED for entire life, PDE-5s worked in my 20s, then began to fail. Caverject worked but often unavailable.
Implanted with Titan touch 23.2.21 20cm cyl 1cm RTE.

I agree that it looks to be average sized. You can check it by using the medically accepted way, below.
Tip: like old blues song says, when you have sex, do it "First in the middle, then from side to side".

I'm in my early 70's. Serious problems with ED started in my early 60's. ED drugs were eventually not effective enough. Aquired VED pump and constriction rings in 2024 which provides usable erections for sexual activity.

KingsIndian: I'm your size; early in our marriage my wife said it's too small for her, in a fit of frustration, after a drink or two. She immediately apologized but it was actually good to know her strong feelings. We had several long talks and it came out that she had gotten used to larger sizes in previous relationships.
What to do? It was obvious - I went to the nearest sex toy store and got a large dildo, with accurate detail. It looks like a large circumsized penis. I told her to imagine that it's a boyfriend, put it in, and rub her clit. I hold it in all the way while she masturbates and fantasizes and she has a great orgasm every time. Then it's my turn in her. She gets up happy - I get up happy.

Age 80 in 2025. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.

Human society fundamentally operates on function, not form. As men we are problem solvers and well placed to get the job done using all the tools at our disposal: if we didn't inherit that 15/16" spanner from our Dad that we need for the job, we don't get depressed about it, we obtain a tool that will.
It's never about form (size) but achieving a functional objective, however, sometimes we get dragged into the world of superficial form and tradition and forget to problem solve. Part of problem solving is defining the problem, which means understanding the objective: size is never the objective, only possibly one means to the end. In this case, the objective is sexual satisfaction for both parties.
Humans are tool users, we don't rely on what nature gave us to get the job done, so it is disappointing that so many in society focus only on form and become depressed when it doesn't seem to be enough.
Unfortunately penis size is still an ego issue, I can appreciate that myself, because men are still caught up in biological competition for women (it's kind of the equivalent of antler size for stags), however men have evolved to also reason and we can reason what the actual objective is and tools to work around most impediments to that objective.
I congratulate Martin6469 for identifying the functional issue, reasoning a tool for the job and not getting caught up in form only.
In my opinion penis size and even penis functioning is irrelevant in modern reasoning society in achieving the objectives of sexual satisfaction and procreation as there are "many ways to skin a cat". That doesn't mean men are unaffected by diversity in form or function of original equipment, because biologically we are still cavemen where that was vitally important. Our task now is to reason it is no longer so important as we have options through the development of intelligence.
