Changing erection angle

Up until my mid 30’s, my penis would stand at 10° off the vertical.

Now, even with the rock-solid erections from injections, it doesn’t get above horizontal.

How have your erections changed with age?

That change in angle is common among men with ED.
57yo, NYC. ED started at 40. Pills, then shots for 10 years. 24cm Coloplast Titan XL w/classic pump by Dr Eid 3/25/2025. Will meet for show & tell.

How old are you? At 81 my wife is impressed with horizontal! :D
Age 81 in 2026. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 25 min.

From my youth I was always around 2 pm when fully erect. I never really noticed any significant change over the years.
But when I had a radical prostatectomy in 2022 at 68 y.o. it changed everything. That caused 100% sudden onset ED which never recovered.
For a brief period I could get hard from Trimix injections and the angle was probably about 3 pm. Pills etc did nothing. Eventually I resorted to a VED for sex when nothing else worked. But the erections and angle were only sustainable for about 30 seconds max, and horizontal at best.
After 3 years I had enough and got my implant. Now I'm a bit above 3 pm and always rock hard for sex. Works perfectly for PIV.
Horizontal, or even 4 pm, I would think should still be fine for penetration and enjoyment.
71, married, Sydney Oz. PC/nerve sparing RRP Mar 2022 caused 100% total ED. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED. All failed. Implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal. Got back to 6.5" BPEL @ 9m. Loving it.
